Welcome to the ultimate in mountain getaways! This gorgeous and spacious home, located between Boone and Blowing Rock on Appalachian Ski Mountain, is the perfect place to make Aspen Memories surrounded by mountain luxury.
The main level features an open living and dining room and kitchen, accentuated by a floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone remote button gas log fireplace between the living room and the kitchen. The living area has two comfortable seating areas, with enough room for everyone. Relax in the large leather sectional and enjoy panoramic mountain views through the wall of windows. In fact, nearly every room in the house has a spectacular view. The high ceilings in the living room make every day a beautiful day, providing panoramic views from every window. Two comfy lounge chairs in front of the fire place make this a perfect place for a family game night.
Cathedral tongue-and-groove knotty pine wood ceilings, white oak hardwood flooring, birch cabinets, solid pine doors, beautiful decorations, and tasteful furnishings including handmade lamps and collector's antiques, reflect the quality craftsmanship built into this home. The dining table has 2 leaves for expansion, enabling it to seat up to 12. Extra seating for 3 is also available at the kitchen bar. You're sure to love cooking a wonderful meal in the sunny kitchen, accented with beautiful black and brown granite countertops. Serve up your tasty creations on a wide selection of fine dinnerware. The breakfast bar provides you with room for company while you cook, and wine bar is a great place to set up for a cocktail party.
Also on the main level is a half bath, as well as a spacious primary suite, complete with King-sized bed, cable TV, access to the upper deck, and a private bathroom featuring a large tub and double vanities with a granite countertop.
On the partially-covered upper deck, there is a table with seating for 6 for al fresco dining, as well as a gas grill and all the breathtaking views that you could ever desire of the mountains. From this seating area, where you can lounge rain or shine, you can see a long range view of layered slopes, including views of Appalachian Ski Mountain's slopes to the east and Boone's twinkling night lights to the west. When Appalachian Ski Mountain shoots off fireworks for the Fourth of July or New Years' Eve, enjoy perfect ringside seats for the show!
Downstairs with 9-foot ceilings throughout is the entertainment room with another living area that has a 47" cable TV with DVD, stocked with several games, making this a perfect place for the kids to hang out. Also, enjoy a board or card game on the cafe-style table, or play a game of pool. Big family, lots of friends? Big groups are comfortably accommodated with open sets of living & recreation areas on each floor of the house. On the lower level deck, accessed from the downstairs living area, there is a luxurious 8-person hot tub overlooking the view, and another patio table with more seating.
At this level are also four sleeping areas and three bathrooms. One space features two sets of twin single beds with TV, with a full bathroom across the hall. Another suite on this level has a King bed, cable HDTV, and a private bathroom with oversized tiled shower. The other two sleeping areas can be connected to form a family-style suite -- One space has a Queen bed, cable TV, and a private bathroom with tub/shower combo, and the other bedroom has two twin beds and cable TV. The sleeping spaces are connected by a pocket door. The sofa in the rec room area also folds out into a Queen sleeper.
This home is the place to be for all seasons. Glorious winters bring snow to play in just outside, or escape the heat in the summertime; see wildflowers bloom and autumn leaves burst into color explosions. You'll rest well and wake up refreshed in the clean mountain air- you may even find yourself waking early to watch the sunrise from the oversized kitchen picture window or stretching out on the warm covered porch to enjoy the view. Access the home in a private neighborhood on paved roads. The home looks down over the ski slopes of Appalachian Ski Mountain- you'll get to know the skiers in a way few others will!
With cable TV in all the bedrooms, wireless internet throughout the house, the video game system, pool table, hot tub, books, and board games, you may not ever want to leave this lovely home. Should you need to leave, it's only a very few minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Resort, and every other High Country Attraction. We're sure you'll agree that this beautiful mountain home is a perfect home for all your Aspen Memories!

Additional Notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- This home is located at over 4200' elevation, and enjoys heavy snowfall in winter months. Guests visiting November-April must come prepared with 4WD or AWD vehicles and may possibly need chains during winter months.
- The road to access Aspen Memories is paved, and there is paved parking for a max of three (3) vehicles.
- Firewood for the firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- This property is pet friendly for only one (1) mature, well-trained dog under 40 pounds. Pet fee is $25/nt + tax. Please do not bring additional dogs or request an exception. There is a neighborhood leash rule enforced while walking your dog.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and Check out is by 10am EST
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- Please note that there is a large, immovable safe in the main level King bedroom. This safe is absolutely not considered to be part of the rental and may not be tampered with by guests at any time.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
