The hotel was clean and the breakfast was sufficient. Nothing super fancy and pretty basic breakfast but it was good. The room was clean and pretty spacious. No complimentary water or hair conditioner. There was body lotion though. Staff was very nice.

We spent our last night in Italy here, after 2 weeks of Vacation. It was the perfect way to end our time! We enjoyed an amazing dinner at the hotel (the bolognese 10/10)! Very close to the airport and amazing service!

We had an amazing time in Bologna. Although it’s full of graffiti it is a beautiful city. The hotel was amazing Salvatore and Teresa (front desk) are amazing employees always willing to help and look after their guests. The bartender (Alessandro) in the lounge was always smiling and sincerely cared about his clients. I highly recommend this hotel, but because of these three employees, this hotel is an absolute MUST STAY while in Bologna

Comfortable gem of a hotel.
A gem of a hotel situated just on the outskirts of Bologna center! Rooms spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and the late checkout was a bonus. It is about a fifteen minute walk into the historic center part of town, but the hotel is an excellent value for the price. We would stay here again.

Ok, but could do with some modernising
The room itself was quite nice and large for a twin. It was generally pretty clean but there was some mould etc on the sealant and in the shower The staff were always very helpful and it is a good price per night. The shared areas definitely needed some attention… we found the roof terrace particularly underwhelming and a bit rundown. There is a phone where you can place orders for drinks but generally the whole concept needs updating & modernising to make it a welcoming usable space. The hallways and common areas (excluding reception) are a bit shabby. The hotel is a good 25 minute walk from the centre of Bologna

Comfort and beauty. Slept very well, had a great bathroom, and the hotel's decor was lovely. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed a very good breakfast. Excellent hotel in a good area. It was easy walking access to the Piazza Maggiore and restaurants. View from rooftop was a nice bonus. Highly recommend.

Great hotel but the location wasn’t great. Not much around in terms of restaurants and things to do. Was around 25 minute walk to the centre and about the same for the train station. The hotel itself and staff were fabulous! Can’t say enough good things about them! Chiara at the front desk was great! Even gave me free drink tickets for my birthday.

Modern hotel good for leisure or business stays. We had the superior rooms which were perfectly well presented with enough space and good bathrooms. Staff very helpful and rooms were ready when we arrived at 1:30pm. Great sunset views of the towers of Bologna from the roof terrace. Convenient bus to the station for exploring in the region. About 20 mins walk to the centre but good food options closer by. Breakfast fine and good value. A good base for Bologna and the wider region. Easy check out and storage.

A pleasant stay at Hotel Aemilia, the room was lovely, very comfortable and nice rooftop with excellent views over Bologna. Staff were very helpful in trying to help locate one of our luggage which didn’t arrive. However, one trainee receptionist was very rude to both us and other guests - terrible attitude for the front desk.

Look- Bologna nor this hotel need you, the foreign tourist. Trade shows flight crews keep this hotel booked so the ‘trying’ is cosmetic. For example, the bar floor & glass restaurant look great. The bedrooms have been made contemporary but Soviet era lobby & depressing hallways hav not. Thank you to cheerful barman & lovely waitresses in the very good restaurant but the only hotel in Italy where cleaners don’t say hello & reception generally ambivalent. Would it kill you to clear the 100 cigarette butts from outside the front door, plant a flower, paint the car park & inner path to it and oh I don’t know, clean the elevators & repair broken hanging elevator buttons? NO, it would not. You certainly charge enuff money nightly to afford this basic maintenance. But my guess is they won’t, cause we all keep coming. Try Air BnB!

Oasis of Quiet a short walk from Historic Center
The service here was first rate. Borrowed a phone charger after airline lost our luggage; rooftop patio views rival those of Bologna clock tower. Left our luggage here for the day and got quick cab service from front desk when needed. Location is 15 min walk from historic center, room size was reasonable and breakfast options were delicious.
