Great Location

We really enjoyed our short visit at this property. The location is great. Just a short walk to restaurants and downtown shopping The landlord is very accommodating and easy to contact. We will consider this property next time we visit.

We had a wonderful time. Easy In & Out.

Great help by owner. Comfortable bed. Not enough dish soap for washing things by hand. The bottle left there was just about empty. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Work Stay

We really needed a washer and the one in this condo was broken at the time of our stay. The owner was very accommodating and offered to give us our money back. The owner then came up with a solution. He allowed us to use the washer in his unit across from us.

The main difficulty was the height of the beds. It was very difficult for a 5’2” person to get in and out of the beds. The bathrooms were very small and hard to get into. As usual, the photos made the rooms look larger than they were. The kitchen was well-equipped, but so small that two people had problems with that. The TV did not work…no information. My daughter brought a device on the second day which helped. We left on Thursday instead of Saturday. Best part was the beautiful weather. I think this place was more appropriate for young winter skiers! The owner was very pleasant, but not present, of course.

Blowing Rock Fan

Overall, our stay was very nice. The unit + location is within walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock & very convenient. The unit is equipped with everything you need, i.e., dishes, utensils, appliances, etc., however, there is no ice maker so don't forget to get a bag of ice. I would suggest that the cleaning service clean the outside patio table & seating area and the sheets/linens while clean are very thin; perhaps a refresh is needed. The front glass door will not shut unless you pull on it. The washing machine did not work & was reported to the owner who apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, it met our needs, and we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to stay there.

I booked this property based on the reviews and was disappointed upon arrival. Upon entering the condo had a musty smell, poor lighting, very old furniture and you could not use the sliding doors at all. There was an ant infestation in the second bath inside the cabinet and on the sink. Since one bathroom was not usable we stayed one night and relocated. I contacted the owner thru VRBO and a text requesting a refund but did not hear back.

Nice weekend

Blowing Rock Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and the owner was so nice and accommodating. Downtown Blowing Rock was within walking distance and Boone just a short drive. We would definitely stay here again!!

Time in Blowing Rock

The condo was clean and a nice walk to Blowing Rock. The main bathroom was remodeled and very nice. Went we got there the TV didn’t work, but the owner got a neighbor to come over get it going. When you walked in the mildew smell was overwhelming. The fire place never worked. I would stay in this condo complex again, not bottom floor with mildew .

Clean, Comfortable, Close to Main st.

The condo was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The decor matched the rich, simple, and old time theme of the town of Blowing Rock. Within short walking distance to downtown where there are one of a kind shops, restaurants, and a huge park. Such a quaint and nice place to stay while visiting the mountains for hiking, fishing, and mountain tourist attractions!

Perfect pet friendly condo

This is our second time renting from this owner and first time in this unit. It was warm, cozy, well-appointed and absolutely spotless. Communication was great and the location was just perfect! Easy walk to town. A bonus was the back door to let the pups out. We are already planning our next visit.

Amazing Place!!!

This place was great to stay at. The location is awesome. It was a quick walk to downtown Blowing Rock. The condo has a back patio that opens up into an open area which makes it easy if you have to take a dog outside. The place was very cleaned and well maintained. The owner was very easy to reach and even called a few days before check in to make sure we had all of the j formation and to answer any questions we had. We will be staying here again.

Perfect Location!

This property was the perfect location to spend time around Blowing Rock and travel to other fun locations. We easily traveled around main street and other great locations around Blowing Rock and main street, and some great restaurants and bars off main street, were easy to walk to. The deco is just as it appears, very comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had most of the items we needed. The bathroom with the walk in shower was very nice; the other bathroom is small but very efficient. The beds were very comfortable. The heat was easy to adjust and made us comfortable throughout the trip. The tv and cable were sufficient for our entertainment; we don't usually use these. I was very comfortable working with the owner who reached out as soon as I booked and gave me tons of information just prior to our trip. He was also available to me when I had questions while on our trip.
