The room did not smell funny or bad. The sheets felt good. The room was quiet. The AC worked well and thermostat was easy to control. The TV worked and had a fair number of channels. A convenient, central location. I wished it had an actual restaurant. They were “out of” bottled water. I had to ask for a TV channel guide. The more convenient bedside lamp didn’t work. Only1 window and no way to get fresh air other than lower the thermostat. Congested traffic situation entering & exiting. i will stay again bcz the staff were friendly & helpful, it was clean, they used non-objectionable cleaning products, and it was economical.

Nicely renovated property. Pretty outside design and interior design. Large room and good breakfast. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. But jacuzzi's jets were not working.

Very nice staff. Enjoyed the breakfast & outdoor area. We sat outside to relax on the porch & have drinks. It was easy to drive around Boone & Blowing Rock from this location.

Ice machine was broken. Room smelled of wet dog. In room amenities did not get refilled. Front desk staff was great. Very friendly and helpful and very apologetic when they couldn’t extend my stay because of third party booking. Breakfast day two was lackluster. Eggs were burnt, potatoes undercooked and biscuits were hard and I was first one in the dining area that morning.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting Boone with our dog. Nice big rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast choices. Warm cookies in the afternoon/evening. Looks like a nice pool and hot tub, but we didn’t use it. Nice places to sit outside.
