It was very quiet and free of city noise. No noise inside either. Room was of ample size and clean. Employees extremly friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay again.

Excellence at The Eliot
First time but will not be the last time. Love the Old World classic charm. Excellent Back Bay location - walkable to Fenway Park and nearby places such as Prudential Center. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I'm not sure how I found this hotel but we will recommend it to anyone who asks for a Boxton recommendation. First of all, it was about a block from a subway stop. As we approached, the staff was immediately welcoming. The hotel itself was gorgeous, with an actual key cubby behind the front desk. The room was immaculate and comfortable. When we let the front desk know about a couple of items - the iron holder was coming out of the wall and the shower wasn't draining - they fixed it all same day. We were greeted every time we walked into the lobby. AND the Eliot is so close to everything. Maybe a 10 minute walk to Fenway, 5 minutes to shopping on Newbury, lots of restaurants close by, and subway access basically across the street. We will definitely stay here again!
