We booked two rooms at same time, weeks in advance. Not until our arrival were we informed the rooms were on separate floors and on opposite ends of the facility. To add to this, patrons next to one of our rooms had a dog that barked incessantly. Another family allowed their children to run rampant up and down the hallway like feral dogs. A little managerial oversight would improve this facility dramatically.

Pros: The front desk staff and housekeeping are all exceptional! Very professional and very friendly. The breakfast, included with your staying, is fantastic! Cons,:Unfortunately there's nothing around the hotel and without having a car we had to resort to Uber eats for meals and to get around to see any sites. This got very expensive. This is a pet friendly hotel and the dog barking woke me up every morning at 5:00 a.m. unfortunately the barking didn't stop for an hour. On our third night there was a big party And the noise was absurd! I was surprised the hotel didn't ask them to be quiet at a reasonable hour because the party went on all night. And finally, not that it's a big deal to me but the room I stayed in was quite run down.

Bed was hard as rock, had live roach in room, bad paint job in bathroom, shower head needs replacement, found red spittle on bathroom wall, and electrical sockets were loose and worn out.

We stayed at the La Quinta in Boutte, La. For the Saints game on Nov. 10. Customer service was great, parking was great and cleanliness of the lobby was beautiful. The only issue I had was there were roaches in the room, the bathtub had rust stains, door knob was loose and among other simple stuff. I saw two roaches crawling on the wall in the room. I would have asked for another room but, I didn’t want to scare my kids who are extremely scared of insects.

The most important feature of this property is the staff. The front desk was exceptional. Tiffany greeted us with a big smile when we walked into the hotel. She was professional and accommodating with having our room on the main floor, and she gave suggestions for rooms when the rest of my family came in 2 days later. I appreciated her help in making sure my family would be taken care of.

We were given a room on the main floor, which we have never gotten before. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist, Ms. Tiffany. I had made reservations for 2 other family members, and wanted to make sure that the stay was charged to me. Ms. Tiffany helped make that happen by taking my information, and making sure there was no hassle to the family members. The continental breakfast was delicious and sufficient. The whole staff were courteous and friendly. The room was cleaned every day. The only comment I will make is that there should be a rubber mat in the bathroom tub to insure us senior citizens don't have a slip and fall. The tub was very slippery.
