Faded Grand hotel from mining days .Friendly staff and huge spacious room no modern amenities but an armospheric experience in historic Butte cenre

Great hotel

Older hotel but in very excellent condition. Front desks ladies very nice and helpful. Loved the old fashion key entry with a key not a card. Room was clean bed very comfortable. Very quite felt very safe.

Beautiful hotel and motor lodge. We felt really welcome when we checked in and we were given great dining options within walking distance. Lounge is nice with good drinks and friendly bartender.

The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. It was cool to stay in this re-furbished old hotel in the old historic district of Butte. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room.

This hotel/motel was very kept Up and clean. My only criticism was the person next door was playing their tv loudly all night long. Thin walls.

A grand old hotel, very elegant. We stayed in the motel. The room was older but in great condition and spotless. Very quiet. Easy walking to different areas except for the panhandlers and the folks with substance abuse issues. There was a great street fair about a block away and that was very fun. I would definitely stay there again.

They have done a marvelous job of maintaining the historic integrity of ! Old hotel yet integrated modern services. Parking was goid. Checkin was great. We were on the third floor but the elevator was readily available and quick. We always haul more items than we need and they had readily available carts. The room was small but very clean and well kept. Air conditioning is orovide by a floor portabke unit vented rhrough the window which took up more room but was effective. The ceiling fan, which was a nice touch, along with the fan kept the room comfortable. Water pressure was goid and water hot. Although towels were adequate they were not large nor very fluffy. Bed, pillows and linen were asequate. I did appreciate the set up for clock and lightscwhichnorovided lots of plug in very electric devices. Now to the diwn side. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the room. Also there is no restaurant. No pool no fitness center. If you want a unique exoerience in a historic hotel this is a great place. If you want modern coveniences find a chain motel. In our travels we found motel prices higher in Butte. Also I was disappointed in the historic downtown. A lot if beutiful well maintain old building that are unoccupied.

Charming 100 year old hotel, only two floors are hotel rooms, floor 3 and above are apartments so reserve early. We stayed in the motor lodge (motel) which was dated but clean. College town with big mining history, lots of local food and shopping options.

Great hotel with great history.

Initially the check in was very poor, receptionist was the most unwelcoming person we have ever met. Rude and downright obnoxious. After that things improved, the room was excellent, spotless and very comfortable. Other staff members were very polite and helpful. We would definitely stay there again as it’s a fantastic hotel with great history. Brilliant location in the old town. One person couldn’t spoil our trip to this beautiful place. We were disappointed that the bar restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday as we were told it’s well worth a visit.
