Minutes from beaches, ferries, museums, art galleries, tall ships/charters, lakes, shopping, Rockport, and Camden. Excellent local restaurants. Numerous festivals during Summer season. Watch the ships and sunrise from the deck right at water's edge. Bring your own canoe and put it in! Quiet dead end street .I mile from town.

We do not allow winter rentals. Rent week starts on Saturday to Saturday .

Great sunrises and views of the harbor

Great location to all the sites and activities surrounding the area. The cottage is perfect for 2 people. If you don't want a lot of excitement this place is for you. Enjoyed the daily feeding of the seagulls from the owner next door! Wonderful time.

Quiet in the water

Nice home-like stay with amazing views. Great sunrise, especially with the Coast Gaurd Eagle clipper ship visiting in the harbor. The bed was really comfortable.

Cottage on the bay

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week in Maine on Penobscot Bay. The cottage was perfect- clean, comfortable, ideal location, and a terrific view of the bay. Perfect for relaxing and taking trips to surrounding towns, hiking, restaurants, and beaches. Al and Rosie were super friendly and helpful and we hope to return to the cottage in the future.

tranquility on the bay

peaceful and relaxing really nice kitchen and back porch loved cooking in the kitchen and watching all the different boats in the water the moonlight was spectacular as well as the area restaurants everywhere we went got 5 forks we will be back

Week by the harbor

Great location for views of the harbor. Quiet dead end street. Our hosts were very nice and helpful. For guests who bring kayaks, be aware that you have to carry them down some rocky shoreline to get to the water.

Vacation in Rockland

We were overwhelmed by the gorgeous view from the deck. The cottage is right on the water! The deck furniture is perfect. The kitchen has all you need including a coffee pot and coffee! The TV is in fine working order. Because my husband is so tall, he had to adjust to the double bed. We have a queen size. bed at home! The owners are cordial and helpful. We had a great week!

Relaxing week

Terri and I really enjoyed our week in Owl's Head. Rosemary and Al were nearby and available but respected our privacy. The cottage is wonderfully located and comfortable. Everything we needed for the week was furnished. We enjoyed being able to bicycle to the lighthouse as well as on a relatively close by rail trail. Thanks for a relaxing week.

Excellent vacation rental

My husband and I spent a week at Rosie and Al’s cottage. We enjoyed wine on the deck overlooking the harbor. The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Rosie and Al were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect.

Million Dollar View!

Spectacular view of Rockland Harbor and the breakwater/lighthouse from the deck and kitchen area. Every day we were greeted to a beautiful sunrise. Kitchen is well stocked with everything one needs to prepare meals. The bedroom and bathroom were on the smaller side, but it's a cottage so that was ok with us. All linens and towels were provided which is a nice touch. Oh, and there's a washer and clothesline, so don't overpack. The location is convenient to Port Clyde, Thomaston, Rockland, Rockport and Camden. Rosie and Al were perfect hosts. And so to end, we plan to return!

Wonderful Location!

Rosemary and Al were wonderful hosts.They quickly responded to any requests we had. The cottage was fully outfitted and comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better, very quiet neighborhood, and the view of the harbor right off the deck was incomparable. The town of Rockland was minutes away. We had a very restful vacation, which is just what we needed. I would love to come back next summer.

Had an amazing vacation at Rosemary's cottage. Very quaint and cozy. View from the deck is beautiful. Relaxing place to sit and enjoy the afternoon. The cottage is in a good location for day tripping. Would love to return one day.

Cozy cottage, modern kitchen, with spectacular views overlooking the bay and Rockland waterfront. Comfy outdoor furniture -relax, read or have lunch on the sunny deck and watch the sailboats and seabirds. Inside, lg. screen TV with many channels and easy chairs. Perfect vacation!

Quaint, charming cottage

Perfect for 2 people…very well stocked with necessities….gorgeous view of boats in harbor. Centrally located to lighthouse, state park, lobster shack. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Great spot. Perfect for two! Go to Owls Head General store to pick up breakfast. Eat lunch at McLoons. Be sure to visit Farnsworth on a rainy day.

What a view!

Thank you Rosie! We had a great time! The cottage was very nice and well equipped. The shower is small but useable, it's a vacation not a full time home. The rest of the cottage makes up for it. Oh what a view! The owners were close by if you needed anything but left us alone to enjoy our stay. It is a great place to start your Mid Coast adventure from! We would come again!
