Our stay at Havens was great! We stayed in one the Romance swim-out rooms. The room came with a romance dinner for 2. However, the food was not great! Entertainment is top tier. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson show. Regardless of the food, I will give the Havens a solid 10/10. I love it there. Would definitely recommend

Carlos at the front desk was so kind and helpful from the day we checked in to the day we checked out. Staff is attentive and kind as well. Plenty of food options, but I’d give it a 7/10. Rooms are cleaned consistently! Additionally, I drank too much and blacked out but luckily there was a doctor on site who came and helped me. She was excellent.

Doesn’t matter how much you spend for an all inclusive, if you’re not tipping big you get poor service. My husband and I were tipping what we thought was a good amount for dinner service, drink service, etc. We brought $700 cash, and went through most of it in tips alone…no excursions, just being lazy around the resort. And the service was still sub par. We booked the serenity package and tipped our butler $150 at the very beginning and at most got text messages. The restaurants were average, no dinner buffets, and no real options. We stayed at the Grand Fiesta Americana resort last year and it surpassed this Adults only Serenity package by far, with amenities and food and service. The rooms were average, the big sell is the semi private pool. But our options felt limited and for what we paid, in advance and in tips, I don’t feel like it was worth it. Won’t be going back to Haven. So far Iberostar and Grand Fiesta beat the Haven by far.

Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Even with the construction going on, only complaint I would say is the construction that happened in the evenings was a bit much. Petro at the round pool was awesome!!! Levi would waited on us daily was on top of it we never not had a full drink. The restaurants were good we loved the Japanese food, hubby doesn’t eat sushi and gave it a try. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to go there.
