Great location
This house is in a wonderful location within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store, Walmart etc. The house was clean when we arrived and the beds are very comfortable. The pool and pool area are lovely. We enjoyed watching the boats come and go on the canal. Downsides include that age and maintenance of the things inside the house. There are a lot of necessary items in the kitchen, but many are old and should be replaced. The toaster works well but is old and rusted on top. The Keurig sounds like it is on its last legs. While we appreciate the amount of plastic plates and glasses for use by the pool, there were not enough glass glasses for inside. Some of the bowls were stained and should have been replaced years ago. We had a very difficult time with the TVs. We never got the one on the lanai to work. The main one in the living room had no sound and it took several emails and several days before someone brought over an external speaker. The property manager was lovely but was out of town during our visit. All of those things were annoying but were not insurmountable. We enjoyed our stay with one exception. The lawn sprinklers were set to turn on late in the evening. Since no access to the garage is allowed (even to pass through), we repeated got wet when trying to get to the front door. We notified the property manager, but nothing was done to change the schedule. All of the issues that we had with this rental could be easily remedied and hopefully will.
