Motel style two story with doors on interior hallway felt safe. Windows facing well lit parking lot made watching rooftop luggage carrier easy to keep an eye on. 24 hour gas station right next door. 24 hour diner with great food within two minute drive. So close to the interstate convenient and surprisingly quiet. Easy check in and check out. Bathroom could use updating and had no counter space. Good value overall.

The chair in the room was completely ripped apart. The bathroom was filthy, with hair on the floor. The room was as dirty, there was dental floss, among other things, on the floor. The bed sheets were stained in multiple places. The swimming pool which was supposed to be opened at 10 am, was not - without notice. When we asked the staff about it, they said to return in 30 minutes because the pool needed cleaning. Thirty minutes later, when the pool was still closed, we asked the staff again. They were very rude, as though we were an inconvenience. At 11 am on the dot, the staff came knocking on the door to tell us it was time to check out. I would not return.

Fire alarm went off multiple times during the night. Room smells, had to ask front desk for an air freshener. Property really needs an overhaul. Shower doors don't work. Shampoo and conditioner were half full, like they'd already been used.

The first room we had the phone and TV didn't work and the water was turned off, also the lamps were unplugged and the front door was ready to fall off the hinges. After I went to the desk to inquire about the issues I was given another room. When we got to the next room the phone and lights again were unplugged. The front door was also not closing correctly, the bathroom was dirty and in need of some new fixtures. There was white paint overspray on the floor and back of the door from where they had spray painted the tub to make it look clean. There were outlet covers missing in the bathroom and main room. The fan and light combo in the bathroom didn't work also. This hotel needs to be renovated very badly.

The room smelled of stale smoke and urine. Around midnight, it seemed like the bathroom vent had the smell of smoke pouring from it. The desk clerk gave us a key for a new room. The key did not work. We packed up and left and slept at a rest area for a couple hours. We will be requesting a refund.

The room had a smell to it and the carpet throughout the hotel was disgusting, needs to be changed immediately IMHO. I would recommend laminate flooring. The gazebo area was horrible, dirt actually on the picnic table and throughout the decking. Broken spindles on the railing. The lounge chair cushions by the pool were nasty. All-in-all just a badly maintained faclility. A refund or free stay somewhere would be in order!

I made reservations via Hotels.com. Upon check in, I was asked for my card. I know that this is standard. However, I have 2 holds on my credit card that is only a small difference in price. One hold from the reservation on Hotels.com and one from the hotel upon check-in. Will one be released ?

There was blood splatter on the lamp. Stains on the sheets and curtains. Absolutely disgusting. Definitely not worth the money. Stay somewhere else.
