NOT what was expected!

Room was not cleaned well. Found a dead bug in the bed. NO towels were in the room; had to go to the desk to request towels. Bathtub was not clean. Very disappointing! The building looks very nice on the outside, but it is not as nice on the inside. It is definitely not a place I plan to stay at in the future unless they really clean up their act.

The bed covers were white with stains and the air co ditioning would not stop working. The 2nd floor smelled like a kennel. I had to ask to be changed to another room on 1st floor. Everything was gross and old. I had to sleep with my clothe on and on top of the bed. In the morning I went to take a shower there waa no hot water. Even though the room was very close to front desk the internet waa super slow. I would never go back. I wanted to leave when i got there but I could not get my money back. Horrible place.

Not kid friendly

I complained about dogs barking and the people had their door open 3 times and nothing was done about it. I had 2 babies and we were kept up because the dogs kept barking. I asked for towels and never received them. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

Dirty sheets, nasty a** pillows, disgusting carpet. Both the restroom sink and toilet were clogged. Furniture was old and run down. AC was broken. Plus we had a little visitor, "Mr Cucaracha(Roach) peep his head out a couple of times. Sorry to say but we got what we paid for. Do not recommend to anybody not even if your homeless.

Run dont walk to stay away

There was no Air Conditioner so we slept in the car the 2nd night as it was to unbearable. We also vouldnt get anything other than hand towels as thry said they ran out so we had to go and purchase towels and purchased a fan. This was the worst accomadations Ive ever had since being on deployment. I having it posted in the Base papers to tell their out of town guest to stay away from this location.

Mixed Review.

Hotel room was nice…but some issues…the heavy slider door to the bathroom was broken and hard to slide open and shut. I notified the front desk and was told maintenance would repair it in the morning…three day stay and it was never repaired. Had towels the first night, requested more,; they never came. Apparently they were short of linen, staff had to borrow from an unoccupied room. Otherwise my room was nice and spacious. This hotel could be 4 stars, but due to neglected maintenance, lack of towels and spotty service, it is a borderline 2 to 3 star hotel.

The property was nice, but the rooms are severely dated. The staff was great and warned me about the other rooms so I was upgraded. I'm sure it's hard getting rid of old motel room smell. Upgrading the sheets and towels would help as well as modern amenities. Great price though

As a trice-per-month visiting Neurosurgical-psychiatrist to various north County of San Diego underserved med facilities, I have found — over many, many assignments — that I prefer a simple property, vs the typical Marriott, Westin, Hyatt-properties. This property has seen its better days, and the management group seemingly is more concerned with “lowering the bar,” and in doing so, they lower the entire guest experience to nil. . . Have stated the aforementioned, I give earned recognition to their “Reception Desk” lady who, exceeds the professionalism of any other colleague of her (Don’t recall her name, yet she’s married to a co-worker(s) and, she enrolled in an accredited institution for “Hospitality & Management!”

Hotel is in very bad shape!

I reserved and paid for a 2 queen bed room two months ago. When we arrived, an unfriendly desk clerk tried to charge me for the room. When we went to our room, the door was partly open and the bed was unmade. I went back to the desk to resolve the situation. The clerk asked if I had reserved on Expedia-not sure what difference that made! We were given a different room with 2 beds. The hallway carpet was in bad shape and smelled like urine. The room smelled like mildew-we turned on AC hoping it would help. The couch had tears in it. One bed had a blanket, the other did not and there were no spares in the room. We had three towels, one hand towel, no washcloths. After closing the drain on the sink, it would not reopen. Two of us showered in the morning, the first got a hot shower, the second got a lukewarm warm shower. There were problems outside the room as well. The back door that was supposed to be accessed by key card did not close tight and had no way to latch it. The pool was closed and empty, the exercise room was closed. Despite having a 2 night reservation-we found a different hotel the next day and left. I didn’t even attempt to get my money back after the poor check-in experience. The only positive thing at the hotel was that the air conditioner worked very well in cooling the room.
