While the hotel itself seems as though it could use a remodel, we were very impressed by how clean our room was and how amazing the staff was. It was near Xmas and it was very festive in the lobby. The outside on the 2nd floor could use a thorough cleaning (there was a whole lot of bird poop and some other stuff). But overall, we were very impressed and grateful.

Okay stay.
The first room we were given was filthy which we didn’t discover the evening we checked in due to poor lighting. The next morning we discovered stains on the bedding and the chair. We had no hot water for showers. The bathroom had also not been cleaned. Thankfully assistant manager TJ immediately moved us to a new room. The room was better.

Miserable stay
The room was advertised as a king with a pull-out sofa/sitting area. It had a lumpy king sized bed and 1 chair to sit in. The shower rod was jiggling around and wouldn't hold the shower curtain in place and there was greasy hand prints as well as chunks of something on the wall and the whole thing was just in need of repairs and paint.The lady who checked us in was nice enough, but didn't communicate that we would need to ask for room service and didn't listen to the fact that my husband and I are both mildly disabled. She put us on the backside of the motel, opposite the parking lot, as well as upstairs. The man who checked us out was outside smoking when we can down to check out and not dressed professionally at all so i didn't recognize that he was working there until i told my husband that there was nobody there to give us a receipt, then he was rude with every word he spoke and never made eye contact even once. I have worked hotel front desk and front desk management and i would literally fire anyone who was that rude to a guest! The only truly good thing about this motel was the Denny's that is located in front of them! The waitresses and manager, not to mention the cooks made my visit far better with their bright smiles, friendliness and compassion over my sister's death (which was the whole point of our visit) and were amazing! I highly recommend their restaurant! I will not return to this motel though. Absolutely not a good stay at all!

This was a good hotel for the price point. My only complaint is that the place is not as "new" as it appears to be in the pictures. But we were happy and would definitely stay again.
