Excellent!

We needed a place to stay right away and wanted comfort. The hotel is amazing! Clean, comfortable beds, very nice staff! We had A wonderful view of the lake. My only complaint is there was no microwave, we had to go to the front desk to warm our food.

Great stay at this extremely well kept property. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Toni the concierges was able to upgrade us to a balcony room without a fee. Rooms were very clean and they provide a turndown service, a nice touch that as been largely absent since Covid in many nicer resorts. The views and sunset from the balcony is a fantastic way to end the day here.

Beautiful property, large, well appointed rooms. Great beds. Slightly overpriced for the level of service. Miscommunication among restaurant staff resulted in extended waits for initial greeting and drink orders. Front desk indicated breakfast times different than the actual times. When you're paying this much for a room please don't charge $3.00 for a water bottle. Delete the turndown service and chocolate square and provide a couple free water bottles in the room instead.

My husband and I visited for a weekend during the Indigo Girls concert at the Chautauqua Institute! We loved our stay and enjoyed the surrounding area! Visits to the Lucy Desi Museum and National Comedy Museum are highly recommended! The Lakehouse Restaurant was fabulous, with Kim and Bree were exceptional as our waitstaff!

Only request: you need <>chargers for electric vehicles on site. There are 2 slower public chargers nearby but it takes several hours to charge that way. Chatauqua Lake is remote—so EVs will need to recharge for like 5-6 hours to get back to full power on a slower charger (a dryer line). A few fast chargers on site would be really beneficial

This hotel was disappointing for the cost. You are paying for location and the great view. No complimentary breakfasts. Restaurants and bars close at 9 pm and there is no real room service (only 3 snacks/sandwich on the menu). Restaurant is incredibly overpriced and the food is not good, bordering on inedible. Phone to front desk in room didn't work. No recycling bins.

It is a hidden gem! Everything was well thought out for relaxation and hanging out. The restaurant and bars were excellent. The outside facilities were fabulous. So pretty, inviting, lots of sitting areas and the LAKE VIEW stunning. Will definitely come back!

Great, with two comments

Just two comments: The complimentary coffee stations were great, however, I was staying on the 4th floor and there was no decaf, so I had to go down to 1 every day. We had breakfast on the patio on a beautiful morning and one of the servers was moving tables & chairs around, dragging them across the concrete making it very difficult to talk. Perhaps they could do this between the breakfast and lunch service.

The hotel is on the lake, but there is no access to it or amenties such as kayak or sailboat rental. There are also no bike trails in the area, or nearby shopping.
