Wonderful experience. Hotel was close enough to Charleston SC to enjoy the city quickly but not have to be burdened down with parking expenses and expensive rooms. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.

Shower was disgusting
This hotel is in need of some updating. My main issue was with the bathroom which was wheelchair accessible-Neither of us was in a wheelchair but I understand that they give these rooms to pretty much anyone which is fine. However, because there was no kind of lip on the shower which was level with the floor, Not even a rubber strip that a wheelchair could’ve gone over quite easily, The water from the shower made its way all the way up to the sink. For some reason there was an unsealed wooden fold down chair and it was disgusting. I understand the need for the chair however it needed to have been replaced with some thing that was not wood. There were splotches of mold on it and there was mold along the bottom of the shower, Embedded into the caulking.

Easy walking access to Patriot's Point Museum plus a very short ride to downtown historic Charleston. Nice restaurants nearby made for wonderful local culinary treats! I will return.

Pleasant Stay in Mt. Pleasant
We stayed here for 7 nights and found the hotel very comfortable and very convenient to where we wanted to be (Patriots Point). Jonas at the front desk was especially friendly and accommodating. He even gave us a larger room when we checked in with no prompting from us. We also enjoyed Lynese (Ms. Nese) in the breakfast room. She was personable and very friendly. She even sent us on our way with cinnamon biscuits this morning when she learned that we were flying home today. What a gem! The only recommendation we would make is to add more room that just have showers, no tubs, and add handrails to the rooms that have tubs. For older travelers like us, the bathtub was a bit tricky since it has a high side and is somewhat difficult to get in and out of. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay and the breakfasts were plentiful.
