We called ahead to confirm our booking and nothing was said. Arrived with a 25 person family reunion to be told the pool was closed. They were incredibly rude and said they could not issue a refund. Eventually a call to management gave a refund-but no apology, or explanation why the pool was closed, or notified of this earlier when called. I understand things happen but when you’re aware of an event such as this, you’d think a phone call would be easy.

Some pool time would of been a rare occurence trea

Very bummed out the pool lift or disabled not working & never addressed during 3 nite stay. A new reason given each time when I brought it up at front desk daily. 50% of the reason I chose the Hampton, by far the most $$$$ expencive lodging in Clinton Ia. The other 50% reason for choosing to spend the highest $$$$ in town option was for the roll in shower. Really feel I should of been compensated a $$ nite or something. Not a child but wheelchair user & pool lift issue never resolved if even attempted seriously. Very dismayed, a little offended. Not seriously or priority addressed if attempted at all. Probably forgotten/ swept under rug already

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Beds were comfy and great water pressure in the shower. We tried the breakfast as they had many options, but the food was cold. (Omelets, oatmeal). Maybe their cookware just wasn’t set at the right temp to keep it warm.

Had to request towels/cloths and room service 😩. As Hilton Honors member never got daily water. Had to ask on arrival. And departure. Staff nice. Breakfast lacking.

The staff was wonderful to work with. We had a problem with our power window shade and maintenance was there immediately to repair it. The receptionist was very helpful and stressed that they wanted our stay to be excellent and wanted to do anything to make that happen. We were here on business twice and the staff could be better. We didn't stay for breakfast, but I scouted it out. Excellent! Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, hard boiled eggs, a variety of baked good, etc. You won't go away hungry.

Beds uncomfortable.

The evening we stayed, the staff was challenged with new key cards not professing. Alisha? Was a good sport and did her very best. She deserves some kudos. I know this speaks to preferences- but the bed was hard as a brick, pillows were well, soo soft they were uncomfortable. There wasn’t any shampoo or conditioner in the shower pumps. After a long day of moving, that was all I wanted. Shower and sleep- got neither.

The property was in close proximity to the facility I needed to have access to for a meeting. The bed was uncomfortable. Everything else was excellent.
