We come to Columbus, MS frequently for business, and usually stay at this hotel because of it’s convenient, comfortable location. Over the past few years, it has been going downhill rapidly. After this last trip, we will no longer be staying there. The worse of this was we traveled over 800 miles and the bed was TERRIBLE! It was sunken down to what felt like the bottom frame, and forced a person to lay in the middle because of that. We even had padding on the top of the bed, and it didn’t help. This in fact, caused us to leave a day early because we just couldn’t rest. And how do you all account for someone having allergies? The pillows were feather, and apparently there is no option for a non-feather pillow anywhere in the hotel (I was told there were only feather pillows). So not only was the bed awful, but we didn’t have pillows either ! The advertised free hot breakfast was the exact same every morning. With biscuits, gravy and sausage. No eggs or alternate protein source. The oranges were squishy and covered in white mold. No other fruit option. The only food options were toast or a muffin and yogurt, so you basically still advertise that you have this wonderful breakfast that has become obsolete (it used to be really good and one reason we would always choose this hotel). Our room didn't have a hair dryer or non-feather pillows or a good working TV. No one is paying attention to what needs to be changed here.
