Overall our stay was ok. The staff was great and breakfast was good however the carpet throughout the motel was dirty and the motel just didn’t feel clean.

The place was absolutely disgusting! The carpet outside the room was seriously water damaged and stained. The hallway and room smelled like a wet dog that had never had a bath. In the past they didn't allow local Crack heads to stay there. That has changed as tweekers were everywhere! No pool or workout facility to exercise either. Those facilities were locked up tight. The lady at the front desk was very kind and sweet upon check in tho.

This is one of the better hotels in Henderson. If you are staying the night it will meet your needs. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. It is aged and worn out a bit but is a good value. The area it is located is a bit noisy but fine if you are a sound sleeper. Our dog was ok with the room as well.

The entire hallway leading to my room smelled like cigarettes, the lobby and dining area also smelled. The room was typical cheap old motel furniture, the carpets had multiple stains, and the room smelled like someone had just put out a Marlboro. There were only two tiny bath towels available and when I asked for 4 more she said I could only have two. I stayed 3 night and there was a sticker on the bathroom mirror saying you had to asked for the room to be serviced. I asked for service twice, two days in a row. Neither day did the maid service clean the room. The second day I went to front desk and asked for clean towels, the front desk lady told me to bring towels to the front desk and she’d swap them out 1 for 1. I told her I’m a paying guest, not staying at my mom’s house. You come to my room and pick them up. Then it became verbally hostile, she just told me I could just check out if I wasn’t happy. This went back and forth, I don’t want to repack all my stuff just for a one night at another place. Avoid this place , it’s pretty much a dump and the night clerk person is hostile if you ask her to do part of her job

Needs to be brighter

The view was blocked by a pillar and construction. The lighting in the room was bad 2 lamps not bright. Hard to see.

This place should be swallowed up by the earth.

Wow, can’t warn folks enough about this place. Not only is the town of Monterey boring and surprisingly not charming considering the area, and the hotel itself was beyond disappointing. It was, in fact, a hellhole. We had to change rooms because the first one smelled like mold and set off my husband’s asthma, but then they accused us of smoking pot in our second room, when we absolutely did not. Who does that?! We were targeted because we were from out of state (west coast plates) and without any proof or even reason for suspicion, asked us to leave. The hotel is run by a toothless, ignorant, wretch of a woman and no one should give this place their money unless you want to have to worst time of your life.
