When we arrived, they told us that the overbooked and gave us a king bed instead two queens. Keep in mind we booked almost 2 months in advance. We were told when we book through Hotels.com they tend to over Book.

This was my second time staying at the holiday inn express in Williamsburg Ky the first stay was a 10/10. This stay wasn’t as pleasant the carpet in room 221 looked very dirty and even wet in spots. I’m guessing from people coming from the pool. When we first arrived there was a musty smell in the hallways and room. I did notice that management had later that night put out air purifiers in the hallways and it most definitely helped with the smell. Breakfast was great again and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay again but would most definitely ask for a different room. Hopefully this review will get the carpet replaced or deep cleaned in room 221.
