NASTY AND DIRTY HOUSE. STAY AWAY.
This was supposed to be a 5 day stay, but the house was unacceptable. The couches were stained. The pillows on the bed had yellow stains. The blinds were torn. The shower was not clean. My daughter said there was blood on the sheets in the room she was in. I tried calling and emailing them to be put in another property of there's. I got an aswering service. We slept on our towels and throw blankets being we arrived at 2 am. The following morning I was told they don't have anything but if I check out by 10am they would only charge me for one day. The pictures they show is not the home you get. Nothing close to the pictures of any of the properties you see. Trip ruined, its spring break and everything was booked so we had to book a different room every day with our kids.

There was cockroaches all over the house there was a hairdryer that was hanging off the wall ants all over the counters and dirty dishes in the cabinets was not very satisfied with the cleanness of the place

This is a beautiful house with a private pool. It is super close to a number of stores and restaurants (many within walking distance). The rental agency is very responsive and quick to answer questions or offer assistance. I would highly recommend both this property and renting through American Home Rentals.

Only problem that we had with the property we paid for a house with a hot tub And when we arrived there was no hot tub. I asked how much and when we could have the pool heated and I'm still waiting for a response.

Horrible customer service!!
I book vacation homes at least 4 times a year this os my first time booking with American home rentals. I had to call them to get the address to the home normally with every other place they email or call 48-72 hours ahead to give you this information. there was a large group of us who needed the information since we all would be arriving at different times on friday. on the day of i received an email saying the address has changed and we will be in a new location (headache #1). Once i arrived i noticed a foul smell coming from the kitchen apparently the dishwasher was broken and had old water sitting in it. The ice maker on the refrigerator did not work so i had to go to the store and purchase ice bags, and the porch front lights did not work leaving us in complete darkness coming into the home after hours. We called Saturday morning to notify the company and try and have this fixed no one ever showed up we called multiple times and nothing was done also i booked a five bedroom and expected to have a garage because it was pictured in all the photos and also knowing we had fove cars that all needed parking. On the day we checked out there was a random truck that kept riding by taking pictures of our cars that was very suspicious. Needless to say i will not be staying with this company again and will stay somewhere with better customer service

Great family option.
Lovely home. Was comfortable and 'lived in' . The space, bedrooms, washer/dryer, pool and kitchen facilities were perfect for a family holiday with 2 small children. American homes were very attentive. We had some little sugar ants visit our kitchen- I phoned the office and pest control were with us within the hour. Problem solved and additional supplies left in case we needed them. We will definitely be booking again for our next holiday.

when we arrived at villa, we were very happy, it was nice and clean, noticed some wear and tear of the villa but you expect that, didn't think to take photo's wish that we had , had a great time visiting the Disney world parks and when we left to stay at universals Loews Royal Pacific for the weekend to do universal parks before heading down to stay in Miami for a week, got an email from this rental villa thought it was a Thank You for using them but no discovered they were keeping our deposit for damage to the villa, not happy as we didn't do any and think this is a scam to keep holiday makers deposit, it states $250 deposit on Expedia but have taken $300, have asked for an invoice and photo's to prove that they have sorted the supposed damage so other holiday makers are not charged for the same damage, have put a photo with this review so would be interested if someone else has been charged for the alleged damage as it was already there when we arrived so beware, take photo's as soon as you arrive at the villa so they can't charge you but better still book with a different company

Bed bugs and green water in the pool
Must of the stay was ok. I like being able to have everyone in one house ( small church group). we were able to cook in, so that save on eating out. One lady could not use her room because of bed bugs & the pool had green water & was not heated even though we paid to have it heated for three days. These are things they can fix.

It was okay it didn’t have enough tv to accommodate my kids. And on arrival the pool wasn’t cleaned. So we had to wait until Monday morning and speak with someone to fixed the problem. But they took their time getting someone out there to clean it. So I had to spend extra money on top of what I already had spent to make sure they had fun on spring break. So it was 3 days wasted because we couldn’t get in the pool. But overall it was okay good location. But the neighbors parking in the roads when we were told no parking on the side. Made it kind of difficult to get out of the driveway of the house at times. And I think it would’ve been better if they had more tv and had the pool clean.

Horrible Experience
Very horrible experience in this rental home, very bad room conditions. Ants are all over the kitchen and bathroom, cockroach also found in kitchen. This is not the most unbearable thing!! Almost every one in the house was bitten by the bugs,it could be the bed bug!!! And we try to call the office,there always no one answer the phone,and we leave the msg,also no one call back!! I do not recommend anyone to stay in this rental home and as a travel agent by myself, I will not recommend any of my customer to choose this rental home!!
