Staff, especially Aurora at the front desk, were especially kind and caring. Everything worked in the room, a rarity in my experience. And the bar/restaurant next door was very convenient.

My renovated room was a little funky but very clean. The staff is friendly and professional. I slept well. With Just 9 minutes walk to Edwards Gym and an excellent mexican restaurant next door I had all i needed. Thank you.

Ours was a brief visit from out of state for a funeral. This nice motel really is a collection of suites, so we had plenty of room to relax. If I stayed again, I’d wish desperately for a handicapped height toilet and an upholstered chair that wasn’t so low as to be unusable for me (70s with poor knees). The bed was oddly noisy as additional supports had been added to beef up the frame, but it was part of the charm. Being in easy walking distance of a good Mexican restaurant was a nice bonus.

We checked in late and checked out early but it was comfortable and clean. Very close to OWU. I will definitely stay here again if my son goes to OWU.

Hesitant as we drove in because exterior painting was in process and I do not remember the last time we stayed at a property that was not a chain, but we were so pleasantly surprised. Pride of ownership was very evident. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, large room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Loved being walking distance to OWU. Decor is somewhat dated but cleanliness made up for that point for me. I stayed 2 nights for the price of 1 night at other nearby chain hotels. I will stay here again.

I believe if a hotel offers a continental breakfast it should be offered to all guest not only high paying guest. The grab and go breakfast was awful. Honey buns are not a breakfast item.

Sure clean room and property. Only reason it didn’t get a 5 star would be because of the mattresses. None of us slept well on them but maybe we are just spoiled. Staff was great as well.

We normally stay in chain hotels, but this was a better price and more convenient to the Zoo. The front desk individual was so nice and suggested great food places (highly suggest Hamburger Inn). Everything was very clean and spacious. The beds were more on the firm side and "springy" but not horrible for one night. We would certainly stay here again.
