Nice room but needs a little updating.
The rooms need a little updating. There were no UBS ports in the room to charge phones, and the TV picture was not good when you selected live TV. The room and beds were comfortable and it was nice having a soaker tub and shower.

This is the highest amount I've ever paid for a 1 night stay ($500). There were m&ms on the floor in the room. Two of the pillowcases had noticeable stains on them. For the price I expected a clean pillow to sleep on. Carpets were stained, chair was ripped, and there were holes in the blackout side of the curtains. The friendless of the staff and the location to downtown was the only reason we stayed. All staff was amazing and made up for some of the flaws.

We drove to Detroit from Chicago for the Usher concert on 9/13 and stayed here overnight. Upon check in the check agent was NOT warm or friendly BUT everyone we encountered thereafter was awesome! From the security guard to the shuttle driver everyone was so nice. The room was clean, well maintained and really nice - better than some of the Las Vegas properties I’ve stayed at. I loved my overalll experience.

Many room keys quit working one day and had to be rekeyed which was a disaster due to the crowd at the front desk. There was not enough staff to handle the issue. One day our room didn’t get cleaned until super late. One of the house cleaning staff members was rude to my wife when she requested shower caps. Very disappointed with that hotel.
