Oh - so much to tell you! When you arrive - the exterior is a simple log cabin, located on 2 acres directly facing the Tetons. Pull up a chair on the deck, the view is absolutely mesmerizing. The beautiful quaking aspen trees surrounding the cabin make a picturesque setting. A seasonal stream and Bear Creek run behind the property and down through the large grove of trees makes this exactly what a cabin in the west should be. Inside: absolutely charming decor that makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. Race to the 3 bedrooms to see which you want - each has its own flair. 2 full bathrooms on the main level. I love the simplicity of the place- if you want granite and steel, this is not for you! Leather, log, tapestries and a view from simply every space. The cozy living room with a porcelain stove (propane) is like an instant blanket. Best for summer - A/C - an unusual feature for this area but the fresh air is best! The open floor plan lets you work in the galley kitchen while being part of those both in the dining area or the living room. Multiple places to sit, visit, read, work (?) or just enjoy.
There is an unfinished basement with 3 twin beds and a 1/2 bath - this is the unfinished basement (truly roughed in) and not a bedroom but is good for a spillover. It is cool in the summer and a great place for the kids to hang out - complete with a ping pong table. Washer and dryer are available for your use downstairs.
So what makes this place special? I think the feeling of comfort the minute you walk in. With those mountains looming above you - tuck in and have your own piece of paradise.
The shop behind this property is a separate property. It has recently had work done on the interior during the evening but should be finished soon. Property manager uses this space and can be available as needed.
