Our SINGLE level 2 BD, 1 bath Condo with 12' ceilings is located at 8000 ft in Duck Creek Village, well known as the 'Heart of Color Country'. It is nestled in a pine tree hillside and is easily accessed off of the scenic highway. This gem is 1 of the 3 that were recently finished. It is an addition to 3 other condos we've been sharing on VRBO since 2009'. You'll have no long walks, elevators or flights of stairs when unloading your personal belongings for your vacation stay.

Absolutely NO PETS and NO SMOKING!!!

Also, we don't have cameras like most places. You'll get the privacy you deserve!

Our 720 sq. ft. spacious Condo is centrally located between Zion, Bryce and Cedar Breaks National Monument. It is a breath of fresh cool air as we are at 8500 ft in elevation, where air conditioning isn't needed. It's a perfect place to relax after your hikes in the warmer areas of the National Parks. Enjoy the amazing scenery and famous hiking trails. Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake are within minutes of the Condo along with several excellent fly-fishing streams/rivers. There are over 500 miles of ATV trails. During the winter there is great snow for snowmobiling and sledding, and at Brian Head Summer and Ski resort you can take in GREAT skiing or snowboarding. During the summer, enjoy the beautiful wild flowers and wildlife. You are sure to see Deer and Turkey abound! Horseback riding is also available in the village.

This cozy and very clean Condo is a spacious open floor plan and is furnished with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. There is satellite TV/DVD and WiFi for your convenience. There are 2 Queen beds (1 in guest room 1 and 1 in guest room 2). Both bedrooms and living room have ceiling fans to assure you the comfort you deserve. In the front you'll find yourself sitting under the covered patio area enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine while breathing in the fresh mountain air. Possibly watching a rain storm or snow storm with the convenience of NOT getting wet. For sure, this is a GREAT home base for your Southern Utah vacation. It is easy access to just about anything you enjoy in the mountains. Visiting the National Parks, taking in a fishing day, ATV or Horseback riding, a day at the Sand Dunes, hiking or just a simple picnic are just minutes away. You can access ATV/Snowmobile trails right from the Condo.

We have a FIRE PIT! You can enjoy roasting hotdogs, marshmallows or the kids new favorite (STARBURST CANDY)!!! The roasted marshmallows make the BEST roasted dessert, S'Mores!!!! (graham cracker, chocolate, roasted marshmallows). Just put the chocolate and roasted marshmallow between the graham cracker and it makes a great sandwich dessert. MM.. Goooood! You'll never forget it!

Directly across the street is Duck Creek Village. It's a fun happening little village. There's Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Ice cream Shop, Gift Shops and a Convenient Store/Gas Station. There are snowmobiles and 4-wheelers available for rent as well. It's all conveniently located within walking distance from our Condo.

Fall Season...... the gorgeous color change of the leaves is a sure thing to talk about! Also, don't miss the opportunity of playing in Utah's snow, well known as 'The Greatest Snow on Earth'. Holidays fill up quick, so don't hesitate. Reserve your nights for that special family vacation in Utah's 'Winter Wonderland'.

There is an international airport in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Cedar City has a regional airport as well. Las Vegas and Salt Lake are both linked with Interstate 15 which has an exit to Cedar City. It's just a short 30 min. on a beautiful scenic drive up the mountain on Hwy 14 to Duck Creek Village.

Nothing in the town

The condo is as described but be aware the tv satellite is very finicky. The water from the tap tastes awful - definitely bring drinking water. The town itself is dead and restaurants aren’t open late. You’ll def want to bring your own food to prep in the condo kitchen! Although the town is blah the condo location was decent for us about was a good half way point between Zion and Bryce Canyon.

This was by far one of the BEST rentals I have come across. It was quiet, clean and conveniently located right across from Duck Creek Village. The little condo was exactly what we needed for our family vacation and had all of the conveniences of my own home (cookware, dishes, ect.). We will definitely be coming back next year!

Our time at the Duck Creek property was pleasant. The addition of a washer/dryer is very helpful when you're hiking in the desert! The presence of a number of passive aggressive notes around the property felt patronizing and less than hospitable, but otherwise we were happy with our stay.

We enjoyed the place at Duck Creek. Easy access to Bryce and Zion. Only downfall is that at the beginning of the week there is only 1 option as far as eating. I would recommend to come at the end of the week.

Great condo and location. Very clean and updated. Kitchen had everything needed! Could use better beds and bedding. And add a pair of scissors to the kitchen! My only issue was upstairs guests were loud. If you are a light sleeper like me definitely recommend an upstairs unit. Walls are thin.

October Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Duck Creek Village. It was close to Zion, Bryce Canyon and even the North Rim of the Grand Canyon which is why we came to Utah. The closest Grocery Store was 30 miles away, but what we needed was at the 2 small grocery stores in this small town. We dined at 2 of the local restaurants and the food was great. Everyone we encountered in Duck Creek Village was friendly. Would definitely stay and support the local community in the futrue.

We thought the unit was very nice. We would suggest you upgrade the couch. It was very uncomfortable. We stayed for four nights, the first two nights were great, but the last two nights were rough. Very noisy upstairs guests until very late and started again very early in the morning.

Great Duck Creek Village Camping Trip

This was my first time visiting Utah. This location is ideal and close to many fun attractions. Very nice condo with great amenities. We enjoyed our stay, felt safe, was very comfortable and made great memories. We’re planning on our next stay at Duck Creek Village and will stay here again.

Very convenient location

Place had everything we needed - comfy beds, good heat, pans, microwave. Located across from the tiny commercial area with stores & restaurants, ATV rentals. Approximately an hour drive to both Bryce Canyon and Zion parks. Stunning views nearby. Couch was not comfortable, but we would come again.
