Scottish break in November
We arrived just as the cold snap started and the hotel was lovely and warm and cozy. Staff were friendly. Room was bright, king size bed was very comfortable, soft and fluffy towels in the bathroom. Cokes Scottish breakfast was delicious.

Very nice no free parking and is expensive but you are in the centre lots of choice of food but the hotel food is very nice, staff are lovely and friendly, location very good parks castle lots of walks etc

So happy we booked this hotel!! Such a great location, and walking distance from all of the shopping and attractions in downtown Edinburgh! The staff were very friendly, and they had free chocolates that we couldn't get enough of! Safe, clean, and would book again!

Lovely stay at The Brunstwick hotel. Very clean. Shower was very good and the bed was comfy. Plenty of room and very quiet. About 20-25 minute walk to the castle and the centre of Edinburgh. Loads of nice independent restaurant chains nearby with a wide range of food. Ideal location and hotel to explore the heart of Edinburgh

Hotel was okay and fairly clean. Nice area near groceries, coffee shops and restaurants. However, the interior looked worn for wear, the security was lax, the pillows were thick and hard, the walls were thin, can hear your neighbors easily, the staff were courteous but they weren’t energetic to greet you, remember it’s a hospitality business, price was expensive for the hotel, it’s Best Western.
