It is convenient to Yosemite Valley. It is an inexpensive alternate to staying in the valley. Rooms are nice, equipped with a small kitchenette so we can prepare breakfast and dinner. I made a reservation and then added a day right before with the same type of room (river view). They were nice enough to let us stay in the same room and checked in only once. No issues.

Over all I would give this property a 3.5. It wasn't bad and it wasn't great. Super close to Yosemite West entrance. Main Lobby shopping is great. Restaurant food is ok. Prices are really high, but the service is very good. Rooms need a update, and the walls are thin. Bring ear plugs. After we checked in and were in our room, staff just OPENED our door. That was quite concerning. Not sure why that happened. If you are just looking for quick access to YNP, then is a budget able option.

The hotel fit our needs exactly. We had a family suite with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen area. Kids loved the indoor heated pool and playroom. Location near Yosemite entrance was great. Pizza was very good.

Smooth checkin. Great room, with balcony on river. But both sheets didn't fit king bed - top and bottom didn't extend over, so by morning I was partially on the mattress pad and sheets were amuck. A manager-type at reception the next morning took notes and said he'd get the bed remade while we were in YNP, but on our return, it was not done. So, do they not stock proper sheets for king beds, or is customer satisfaction not a priority?? Disappointing. Restaurant: Nearby with nice menu. We arrived 30 min before closing, and the place was clearing out. Were seated immediately. Less than 1/2 full. Waited 10 minutes to place our order. Staff appeared focused on cleaning tables. 20 min. later the food finally arrived. Was luke-warm except at the center. Better after being nuked, but not tasty as described in menu. Disappointing.

Room is a bit dated. Especially the bathroom fittings are old, rusty and leaky. For e.g. the faucet had too much pressure and the water splashed outside the sink. Shower had some kind of reducer that made the pressure too low, it felt as if I was bathing in a mist. Other facilities seem fine. A stovetop and basic cutlery in the mini kitchenette was a nice surprise.

Good hotel right next to park entrance
Conveniently located so the value is good. The room is fine. This isn’t your holiday inn express. Almost all room items are outdated but still functional. The bed sheets could use some upgrades. The internet is spotty and difficult to use. For the location, I still consider this to be worth the money.
