I think this place has great value overall. A short drive from the park entrance. Our river view room was great. Having the bath in our room was great. The kitchenette was what we needed to have home cooked meals. The games room and swimming pool were great. It lost a star for me because the lift was non operational for most of our stay and we were in the top floor (had a decent amount of luggage to and from the room).

Great stay!

Perfect location right outside Yosemite gate! The river was so pretty, we roasted marshmallows by the river. We enjoyed the indoor pool, the game room, the store and the grounds.

We booked the "house" room, the view from the rooms are beautiful. The amenities, game room, in door heated pool, are perfect for families. Little issues with downstairs neighbors who live on site or an employee who had family visiting and booked a room. We noticed staff were hanging out with the occupants below and had music blasting till 2am.& little kids running around screaming till midnight. It was frustrating. This is coming from a mother of 6 who were there enjoying a double birthday weekend.The rooms were spacious and perfect for our family size. Beds are very soft so if you like it you'll appreciate them. Main bathroom off living room was a double shower head, but didn't work. Toilet had to be constantly messed with because it would not always fill flush tank. The coffee machine did not work so they did replace it. For the winter time there wasn't a real need to have the living room fan on unless you like to burn dishes and need the fan to work. There were more pluses than negatives which made the stay worth it for our family. Just little annoyances to deal with that were not a deal breaker but should be noted. DO NOT PLAN TO EAT AT THE RESTAURANT ON SITE!!! Over priced and they up charged at the end but couldn't explain the additional charge on RESTAURANT copy. I took both copies. $25 burger and condiments were a bottle of best food mayo and ketchup, mustard? Eat on site at Yosemite curry village

Excellent location and cooking facilities

The lodge offers a great location -- in a valley two miles before the entrance to the park -- and excellent cooking facilities (electric hobs and well-equipped kitchen). The aircon / heating works well, too. There is a convenience store on site.

Great location aside beautiful river just outside the park. Stayed in one of the larger rooms with kitchenette for our family of 5 - clean and comfortable and great view of river. Convenient restaurant on site. Also enjoyed playing various games with our adult kids in the lodges large game room - giant jenga, air hockey, arcade games, etc. Some games could use a renovation but overall a fun evening location
