Great Value!
Great value for the money. This is what I would consider a mid-tier hotel comparable to Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn & Suites and I felt the value was a little better than most other comparable hotels I've stayed at in the past several years. Very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. Good hot breakfast options as well as the usual cold cereals and bakery goods. The only negative was the instant oatmeal--the fruit flavored options were inedible and there was no maple and brown sugar option that seems to be standard elsewhere.

We were there just to take a small weekend away, watch tv and enjoy the hot tub and relax in the room. My husband took a nap and I decided to watch a movie. The tv wouldn’t work. I informed the front desk, they informed me that they would send a maintenance person in to fix it, so much for relaxing in the room for the day. When the maintenance person arrived, we left them to try to fix the tv. When we returned hours later, the tv still didn’t work. I again informed the staff and she didn’t seem to know anything about the issue. I expected a note to let us know or something. Our plans of relaxing in the room had already been ruined, so we decided to just go home early and not stay the extra night we had planned for. Very disappointed.

Although we give this property a high rating, the fact that there was no elevator was a turn off for us. I’m not disabled per se, but do have challenges that make climbing stairs a challenge at times.

Overall the property is fine. However, the management does not evaluate the performance of the staff or the conditions of the rooms. In my case one lamp did not work, another was missing, and there were no cleaning amenities such as soaps in the bathroom. I expect to see this in a room where the price is very high!
