Clean, older Super 8. This is a ok place to stay if you hold onto the idea it is a “budget” hotel.
The owners were great. There is no elevator to the second floor so he offered to carry our bags for us.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable!
The room didn’t smell the best at first but after opening the windows it was ok.
Breakfast was very limited. Waffles and a microwave for prepackaged rolls and bread. No protein, fruit, dairy, decaf, tea. I’d say make a plan to go to the breakfast diner next door.
But, it was clean!

Checking in went smooth. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite. The location was not
Ideal and we didn’t feel safe on the property. The parking lot is very dark and there was a lot of random cars pulling in with loud music and or small groups of men loitering outside. We tried going to our vehicle once to grab something we forgot but got to the exit door and didn’t feel safe going outside due to the random people. There was also some wiring outside the building that is incredibly unsafe and not within code. The lights in the back of the building also flash and crackle…
We were surprised because the reviews showed 8.2 and “very good” when we booked the room.
The staff were super friendly, but the room had a bad smell covered up by a citrusy, strong air freshener. The carpet was slightly damp so we wore our shoes the whole time. Bathroom door had several chunks taken out of it.
The room was a handicapped room even though we did not ask for that. The breakfast room was basically clean except the outside of the microwave looked very dirty. The lobby looked clean. The exit to get off 90 was closed so we had to drive over 14 miles to the next opened exit. I don’t think I would stay here again.
