This hotel definitely has a great location. The Matrix District has a lot of great food options. Included breakfast is adequate. It used to be hot food, but now is a continental choice- oatmeal, yogurt, bagels. Hot food available to buy. We will stay here again, but we’re sad about the breakfast.

The Archer is clean, nicely designed, and well located in the Mosaic district, surrounded by shops and restaurants. It’s also close to the metro, so getting in and out of DC is easy without having to drive and park in the city. The staff was friendly. We will stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable, but the front desk staff could benefit from customer service training. They weren’t very welcoming, made minimal eye contact, and responded robotically with directions like, “Breakfast to the right, elevator to the left, parking across the street.” Given the hotel’s quality and pricing, I would expect a friendlier and more attentive staff. The continental breakfast was also quite basic and could use some improvement. The surroundings are pleasant, with plenty of dining options nearby; however, the hotel is located a bit far from D.C., about a 25-minute drive.
