Lovely stay at the hotel Very relaxing Our room was the Oakley suite which I would recommend to a couple looking for a luxurious break It has stairs with a bathroom at the top so prob not best for anyone with access needs. Staff were lovely and welcoming and the bed was the most comfortable in the world.

Excellent staff...I had an issue with the key for my room getting stuck in the lock.The problem was sorted out swiftly.The shower head was also a little loose.Other than these faults,my stay was a positive experience

When we arrived my husband could not climb the stairs and no lift in the hotel so we were quickly offered a downstairs suite which was a nice size and the bed was so comfortable which was a big thing for us. The receptionist was a very friendly person with a great attitude and very approachable The only niggles we had was not having bedside lamps and no coasters to put our hot drinks in as did not want to mark the furniture. But not a major problem. This is an old hotel with character and worth a stay

The hotel is tired & needs refurbishing & it was quite expensive considering this. The staff were good. The breakfast was ok.
