I liked that the staff was pleasant but all else not good, the room smelled really bad, the tub leaked and was dirty, the iron didn't work, the ironing board was rusted, the ice machine was only on the second floor and getting to it was dark and dirty. I booked for 2 nights and was woken up with a knock on the door insisting that needed to glcome to the front desk because checkout time had passed. It was an absolute mess. Would I book again, no thanks.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. The 2nd floor outside walk needs cleaned and painted, ice maker very dirty exterior and water leaking on floor across walkway. We asked to be transferred to handicap room account of situation with my wife. The only chair in the room was a yellow swivel chair on rollers. My wife had a broken arm and couldn't get her arm wet and the shower was stationary. The staff graciously moved us to a handicapped room and furnished us with a good chair. The next issue was a contractor staying in the adjoining room played his TV so loud until 11:30 at night and again at 5:30 the next morning you could hear everything and know what shows he was watching. After two nights in a row we checked out a day early and hopefully will be reimbursed for 1 day for two rooms. My daughter was staying in the second room and I won't go into details about her room because it wasn't good either. I would not recommend staying at this motel until some cleanup and painting is done and next room disturbance can be handled. Again staff was very good.

During our stay my daughter wanted to use the pool and there was rocks in the pool. Some large ones and a lot of small ones. I told the front desk and the lady said they had no one to remove them. While we where at the pool we notice the pool to be dirty, water was slimy and the handicap chair was broken. We also asked for a do not disturb sign we could use for our room and never received it. We had to get our own. We also tried the breakfast one morning and the muffins seemed a little dry. My family and I will look for a different place to stay the next time we are in Darlington for the race.

First off, I've NEVER had a bad experience when coming to this property! Been here more times than I can count on both hands. But this time was very disappointing. When reserving online, I specified bottom floor and received 2nd floor when arriving. I also was given a handicapped room. The shower head was broken with only an extended head that was tied with shoe string. Lastly,I know that it was NOT bed bugs, but something was biting me all night! Which made it VERY uncomfortable to sleep! When checking out, I didn't see the property owner or manager. So I didn't speak my concerns or complaints to anyone.

Got room and within a couple of minutes there was water running across floor from AC. TV not working either. Had to go asked to be moved. Then next day no fresh towels and I had to go back downstairs to get some. 3 ice machines and only one worked. By Sunday morning it wasn't working either.

Okay stay.

Liked the hardwood floors, pillows and bed were horrible, shower curtain, shower and shower head were gross. The sink in bathroom handle was dinged and gross, but actual sink area was good. Like the mirror. The door to our room had a gap at the side bottom so sketched me out some. The stairway needs major update, the entire place could use a major spray down and cleanliness update. They always jack up for the race weekends but this definitely needs updated. There was also a roach in our bathroom this morning so that was gross. Please work on cleanliness because location is convenient.

The drains were clogged, the lights were not plugged in and the phone did not work. also, the towels need to be a better quality. The room was clean and new floors.
