The entry door lock and door were loose fitting. The bed was extremely squeaky. Didn't like the fact the trash can was Outside my room door. Liked the size of the room and the bathroom for sure.

We stayed 2 nights. First night at 4 am they gave a key to other people to stay in the room thinking the one we were in was empty. A nice surprise at 4am having someone enter. Then after taking a while to fall back asleep after this they decided to call at 6:50 am to apologize. Next night we had a call at midnight? Didnt answer. Wouldnt stay again.

When we arrived our room was filthy. Stains on furniture, stains or dirt on the bed sheets, shower curtain gross. Some spilled drink at the side of the bedside table that left a huge syrup spot on the floor. My indoor slippers are black on the bottom from the floor and we literally spent 4 awake hours in the room maximum. There was a massive bag of trash outside Room smells like smoke although a nonsmoking room, I assume this is due to the room below us being a smoking room. Our door didn't close flush to the frame and there was light coming in through the door and the door did not feel securly closed, you could push it like you were gonna close it and it popped back up to taht position. We went out for the day to the races, when we returned we discovered our room door open, nit just unlocked but open and we are paranoid so we for sure checked it before we left for the day. The person on shift refused to come enter the room with us and opted to call the sherrif department instead. We wanted to leave and go get another hotel for the night but was not financially feasible for us and they refused to give us back our money for the night.

Assigned a room that was already occupied, gave me key that accessed door. Entered room startling the occupants, it appeared they double booked the room. This could have been a dangerous situation, as the occupants could have felt threatened by my entrance into their room. Luckily no harm came. I found the exterior premises to be unclean and decided to ask for a refund. I had booked the room through Expedia, but paid insight at the hotel. When I requested a refund at the hotel was given a piece of paper with Expedias phone number. Neither hotel nor Expedia would refund.

Not many positive things to say

We were in town for 2 nights. During our time, we did have a good check in and check out experience with friendly staff. But upon arrival, our sink was stopped up, the floor was so dirty that our feet were black, a cockroach crawled under the door, and I found an earwig in the bed. There were several damages throughout the room that had been covered up but not repaired. Had I seen the room before payment, I would not have paid more than $50/night, and that’s before we had the problem with the sink and bugs. Also worth noting, the tub did not have a metal stopper, so we were just staring down an open pipe. The shower head had mildew on it, and cleaning service never came so we had two tiny garbage cans and two tiny towels that had to last the whole weekend. Based off of the lack of cleanliness in the room, we decided not to even risk getting into the pool.

It’s obvious this is not a new property and that is fine but, the fact that there was a gap big enough for light to come through around our door was something I haven’t seen in years. It was not clean at all including sticky stuff on the floor and night stands, stains on the blanket and dark lint on the blanket makes me wonder when it was washed.

The property was convenient and the room was clean. The locks on the door and the door itself are in need of attention. The floor is very wet. I almost fell twice while in tennis shoes.

Hotel stop we should NOT have made

First room offered uncleaned, aircon unit in pieces on the floor, but this may have been due to water pressure problems in tbe local area. Second room perfect, except electronic door lock would not permit us to exit room, maintanence had to come and let us out, not good if a fire had occurred. Finally, our car was damaged by unknown hit and run contractors, still await news if hotel cameras show this incident, as we are responsible for several thousand $ in repair costs!. Hotel wished to refund our room cost, but unable to do so because we booked through yourselves, so overall NOT the experience we had hoped for.

Never Again but good for the moment

Days Inn need to upgrade their franchise. I originally request for a king bed suite, but soon as I walked in the room it reaked of cigarettes and mildew. So i had to downsize to 2 queen size room which was cool. I didlike the big bag of trash outside my room door but what the heck. My room was already paid for and i was too tired to argue. The walls inside the room and outside of the room gave off creepy so i left a day earlier and upon checking out the clerk was not at front desk so i just left. Never received my money and did not even ask. Just will never again go to a days inn
