Florence OR is lovely. Very nicely planned art galleries. Large room. Great river view. Rooms did not have air-conditioning, but there was fan and the night cool.. Check the weather before you go.

On the river right past the bridge. Great view of the dunes across the river. Great spot near old town shops and restaurants that are all walkable.

Make sure you have a room a view!

The river house is a cute old school motel. That needs to be better at communicating that half of their 40 odd some rooms looks at the parking lot while all the pictures on the add show beautiful river views. All the pillows were square and half the size of a standard pillow and a queen double top. For my family had two towels for the four of us. It’s in a perfect locations but they need to step of their game. I would not stay again.

When I booked I thought all rooms had river view and that was not the case when we arrived. We had the parking lot view which was disappointing. Also the room price showed as $152 on Expedia and I had some points I was using but at the end I was charged $189 for the room. I have been trying to email Expedia but it's hard to find the email address for support!!! I used hotels website for the rest of our road trip last week as using the app was a total miss.

I think they should mention that there is no air conditioning in their rooms. I would not have booked one of their rooms in the summer knowing we would not have air conditioning.

Nice place to stay

A nice stay with beautiful view of the river. Overall clean and comfortable. You could tell it was older but they have done a good job with upkeep. I would recommend a river view room!

I loved the landscaping, it was beautiful. The mattresses need replacing as i woke up with a sore lower back. Went away after i was up for a bit. Other mattress was sloping.
