The recent renovation removed the fireplace and replaced it with wall to wall glass doors leading to expanded river views! Guests of this lovely home are invited to enjoy the Mariner's Cay community pool, tennis courts, pavilion with picnic tables and crabbing dock. Take a walk across the bridge and you are right on Folly Beach's Center Street commercial district and 1/2 mile from the Atlantic Ocean beach!

Guests enter Serenity by walking up the exterior stairs from the parking lot to the first floor condo. Once you enter the home, you will find a large, well-stocked kitchen; a dining area that comfortably seats 4 people; and a living room double-door access to the screened porch. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the other side of the kitchen & living room areas. Off-street parking on the driveway for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

Fantastic Place

This condo was perfect for our needs. The screened in porch was absolutely wonderful and the view is beautiful. Sunsets from the dock were incredible! This condo is the best equipped rental I have ever stayed. It has everything you could possible need and the electric grill was great! The location is convenient to the small town and beautiful beach. Thank you for a great vacation! Joyce

Family Getaway

Beautiful and Clean! Very roomy for 2 bedroom/2 bath condo! Lovely view of the river and got to see dolphins every day! Nicely stocked and nice gesture with the bottle of wine and key lime cookies. We will defiantly consider staying here again. Love the location as it was convenient to a lot of sites.

Lovely Property in Folly Beach Area

We have stayed at a number of VRBOs and this has been one of my favourites. The home is clean, roomy for our party of 4, close to Folly Beach, very well appointed with everything you need, and communication with the hosts was excellent. From a relaxing afternoon on the enclosed patio, to a quick drive to Folly Beach or a longer drive into Charleston, the home was a lovely base from which we explored Charleston. Highlights for our stay included Crosby's Fish and Shrimp Co on a friday evening for live blues and enjoyable food-truck food, hanging out on the Pier at Folly Beach, and visiting Fort Sumter, Magnolia Plantation, and downtown Charleston The drive into Charleston with traffic was about 30-40 minutes, but without traffic closer to 20 minutes.

Serenity is the place to stay if you’ll looking for a facility that offers quietness, sense of comfort and warmth. All amenities are provided and beds are so comfortable. You will love 💕 the screened porch. Seat; watch boats launch and dolphins frolic in Folly River. Location is perfect for touring the area and driving locally or into Charleston is piece of cake. Folly Pier is great place to soak in the warmth of the sun and people watch. Take great photos too! Great food at the pier restaurant. Definitely a vacation facility we look forward to returning to.

Fantastic atmosphere and stay

Fantastic ambience, and a we[[ equipped condo. Although we were not there to watch tv, we would still like to stay updated with news, etc.. The reliability of the tv and internet system was sporadic. This would be a problem, especially for foreigners.

A serene week at Serenity

We spent 6 nights at this property and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The condo is located very close to Folly Beach, but just far enough away to provide a quiet and relaxing environment. Travel to downtown Charlston takes about 25 to 30 minutes. The hosts provided an extremely well furnished home. The kitchen was very complete. The beds were comfortable and the property was very quiet. Highly recommend.

Perfect Spot!

If you need a two bedroom condo, this one is perfect in every way possible...the view is absolutely stunning with the best porch to enjoy it from. Condo is very spacious to be only 2 bedrooms. We will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect Home Base

Serenity is a lovely condo that had everything we needed for a week of exploring Charleston. The decor is bright and welcoming, and has plenty of space and seating. There are two large bedrooms and two nicely appointed bathrooms. The screened patio overlooks the Folly River and is the perfect place for morning coffee or a leisurely lunch. Serenity is a 30 minute drive to Historic Charleston, the USS Yorktown, and Ft. Moultrie, making it a great base for all your adventures. A short 5 minute drive and you can spend the day on beautiful Folly beach.

Great property and location; so many rules!

We enjoyed our stay and the unit itself was very nice. We would have liked to be able to use the built-in electric fireplace but was told it was not accessible. The hot water heater is too small for a unit that accommodates four to six people but we made do. The list of rules was overwhelming and IMHO a bit ridiculous. You may not have more people in the unit than it is designed to sleep. We had family in the area and couldn't even invite them over if we wanted to comply with this rule. But, all of that only takes the overall rating down one notch from 5 stars to 4. The owners were very responsive during the stay.

Great location and views!

This is a bottom unit, so not so many stairs to climb. The unit is fully furnished with anything you may need (even iron and board!) The decor was adorable and easy to clean and leave! Contact with managers was great! Short walk to Folly businesses!

Nice, convenient condo

This is a relaxing condo in a great location. The beds are comfortable. Having only one card to open the gate is very inconvenient when there are two vehicles going different directions during the day. Fortunately the condo is not too far from the gate. The stairway is very dark making it hard to enter the code after sun goes down. Other than that, this is a great spot to use for home base when visiting the Folly Beach/Charleston area.

Wonderful stay!

The location and condo were terrific! Very well appointed, super clean, comfortable and perfect location. The door was alittle tricky to open but overall I would highly recommend staying here! The condo was beautiful and we really felt at home, the only issue is that we should have booked another week!
