Great experience. We loved the picnic tables to enjoy the weather. Charming little cabin. The tin cups were a nice touch.

Cute cabin, very clean, comfy and inviting. Friendly, helpful host. I needed peace and quiet and that’s exactly what I got! Wide open spaces, beautiful sunset views, starry nights and THAT moon! I’d definitely rent here again.

The cabin was quaint, and the area was beautiful. The Host lent us a sharp knife and some matches because we forgot them. She was so very helpful.

The Deer Cabin Near the Woods
Great sized cabin near Freedom, Wyoming. There is a lot of room to sleep four people -- more if you use the futon and the loft for kiddos. If you are visiting Star Valley consider this nice cabin. The location of this cabin is on the west side of Star Valley. There are two other cabins available as well. The owner is great to work with and they are very nice people to talk with -- Cary was great to talk with and work with on the cabin. I would suggest Cary and his family maybe finish putting some finishing touches in the cabin. Maybe put some tongue and grove boards on the ceiling, finish the walls in the spare bedroom, and finish the trimming in the bathroom.

Fantastic! Quiet!
This property was so nice! Lots of empty fields and so quiet! We got to hear the Elk in the morning and lots of birds! It’s far enough from the highway so you don’t hear the traffic but centrally located to get to all attractions. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed talking with the owners and they were super friendly! Loved the horses too! I will be staying here again and would recommend this cabin to anyone! Wonderful!

Quiet, comfortable accomidations in the beautiful mountan setting. Directions need to be clearer, perhaps a map, and either the cabins numbered or reciept of the photo confired with the customer.

Peaceful location!
Exceeded my expectations, had a rustic theme but was very clean and had good pressure water. Very quiet except sounds of a normal ranch (and our screaming kids haha). Beautiful area and the hiking trails around it are not as busy as up in Jackson.

Beautiful location on the Wyoming, Idaho boarder. The horse farms are next door. Great views in both directions. Inside there’s room to sleep a lot of people. Bathroom was nice. Tons of TV stations. We highly recommend this place!

Family Road Trip
We stayed here for a couple nights during our family road trip. For being on a ranch it was quieter than I expected. The boys loved the loft space. Cute little cabin that served our needs. The host was very kind.

Grand Teton/Yellowstone/WY Vacation
Both the hosts and property were great. It was our base camp to make day trips to the Targhee Forest, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone. Targhee, Grand Tetons, and Jackson Hole were approx. 1.5 to 2 hours drive from the cabin. The West entrance to Yellowstone was approx. 3 hours of back roads driving. The South entrance was much closer and a nicer drive, in my opinion, since you have to go through the Grand Tetons National Park. Cabin had everything we needed except plates, which the host was quick to fix. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay out of the resorts and don't want to pay resort prices.

The owners of this property went above and beyond
The hospitality by the owners was second to none. They provided local knowledge and entertainment for our kids that was unplanned and bent over backwards to make sure our stay was memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was clean and met our needs. Very comfortable beds and the kids loved the loft.
