Don’t settle!
Will not stay again! Rooms are outdated and smelt of mold. The walls are warping and it looks like a kindergartener painted the walls. Didn’t sleep at all between the pillows and bed being so bad and all the noise from rooms around us. The service was horrible. One front desk rep barely spoke English, the others the ladies were rude as hell! Terrible attitudes. 2 towels that’s it could we have gotten more!? Who knows never saw anyone “cleaning” (which makes sense) and lord forbid I asked the front desk another question. Check out.. you leave the key cards in a BUCKET at the EMPTY FRONT DESK and get a check out survey on your phone to tell them you left… spent $300 for 2 people for 2 nights for this.

Room looked like it had not been cleaned. We got cleaning products and cleaned it ourselves! The room was very musty smelling and damp. The bathroom ceiling was badly stained and the curtain rod and fixture over the toilet were rusty. TV remote was not working.

Third year staying here. It’s reliable and close to where I need to be. It could use improvement in cleaning and general care. there was an old used bar of soap in our shower and the bathroom ceiling tiles were severely damaged, the towel bar had been ripped off the wall. But the beds are comfortable and the staff is nice and it’s easy.

My goal was to try to stay as close as possible to Point Pleasant West Virginia, I finally found this room in Gallipolis Ohio, but it is on the far side of Gallipolis from West Virginia. The hotel itself is not really located in a busy part of town but rather on the outskirts. It appears the room I stayed in was recently renovated but the renovation work was very poorly done. Other than that, it was a clean room, some stains on the bed covering.

It was fine and convenient to our destination. Definitely needs some updating and our room neighbors were very loud until 11:00pm. Also, before we went into our room two gentlemen were coming in the side door with an overwhelming smell of pot.

While I’m not saying I’d never stay there again, it definitely wasn’t the nicest. The only reason I would is because the front desk lady was so nice and accommodating. It was pouring the rain down during our stay, and our window leaked. The bathtub drain was broken, so I had to screw it and unscrew it to let the water out. Ceiling tiles (drop ceiling style) were broken in spots throughout the room and bathroom. There was an outlet that was literally sticking out of the wall (near the window that leaked so that was unsettling). Our friends that stayed in a couple rooms down had the same issues. I feel like it could be a really nice hotel with some basic TLC. The owners are obviously just too lazy and greedy to fix the basic issues.

The facility appeared to be recently updated. Our room was fine, but nothing special. The only problem I had was that the front of the toilet appeared to have dried urine spots on the outside of the bowl.

Run down and old.
This place needs to be tore down and rebuilt. It’s tore up from the floor up. I was traveling with my granddaughter and there were pubic hairs in her bed, and stains on my bed. Like someone wasn’t wearing underwear and slid off the bed leaving a streak. We we too tired and just slept on top of the beds. The drain in the shower was so slow that I’m standing in my bath water. And the soap dispenser was empty.
