We arrived at about 11:30pm and our room had not been cleaned. They had several people go and clean the room, and they were all very kind and full of remorse. While we waited in the car the owner chased a person away who was digging through the dumpster. We lived through the night and the room was cleaned well, but it did not feel like a safe place. We did not ask for a refund because we respect the owners and see they were working hard to make it right.

Not their fault. Redway is in the middle of redwood country. Most people camp, so no incentive for more hotels and restaurants. They do a good job and were very hospitable.

The room could use a deep clean and a touch up with paint... but the beds were more comfortable than Super 8 and Days Inn, which I stayed in the days prior. The people and customer service at the restaurants are really nice!! The a/c unit faced the feet of the beds which was also super nice, so both beds got a/c equally. Get food early, not many options in the immediate area later in the evening.

The outside looked a lil sketchy but the room was very big for a 2 beds. The air worked perfectly. The staff was nice & accommodated for ice. I was very pleased with the room.

Cool little hotel in the heart of the redwood trail. Owner was very nice. Food nearby was all closed although listed an open.

Ummm...

The room was not in the best condition starting with the door which had big gaps in the bottom and right lower side. The room didn't smell the best either The person on the top floor made very loud movement noises from 12:30 - 3 am. You can tell they are trying, but it just wasn't a good experience, especially considering the price. We normally sleep im a little, but were checked out by 7 am.
