Deluxe Accommodation in Beautiful Scottish Countryside
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Badan. Luxurious finishings, tasteful decor and little touches such as heated towel rack and extra blankets/bedding/towels. Wonderful host! Colin went above and beyond to help us with dinner plans at The Clachan (est. 1734) - great pub in the nearby village (Drymen square with historic pubs and cafes is a short 5-10 minute walk away! Take a footpath that starts across the street from the estate of Knockinreoch, where the Badan is located). The place has everything needed for a really comfortable stay, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, toaster, oven, fridge, dishes, etc. Picturesque views from primary bedroom of sheep grazing in field. Sweet visits from their friendly dog and cat. Great selection of local literature: books, maps and pamphlets to learn about the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and surrounding area. Would definitely come back - this place truly is a gem!

LOVELY place in a special Scottish town!
The Baden unit is wonderful, comfy beds, clean, everything we needed in the lovely town of Drymen. We are so happy we added this stop on our trip....
Only suggestion would be to add a note that the street has two access points, one in the town and the other must be accessed across a highway, thank goodness Colin answered his phone to help guide us!

We had a fantastic one night stay a The Badan, the accommodation was clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, powerful shower and all mod cons. The super king bed was very comfy, the huge sofa bed even more so. Colin was very friendly to deal with and very helpful in advising how to get to Drymen for dinner and advised of pubs to visit.
We enjoyed our girls visit so much we are considering making it a yearly booking :-)
