BEWARE OF WEDDING PARTIES!!! I was so excited to have a relaxing fall retreat weekend, but could not sleep all night due to the loud and rowdy wedding party that partied in the hallways until 4am. After being woken up by the wedding party, I called the front desk at 11:30pm and 2pm, and the noise did not stop. I was not able to go to sleep until 4am when the noise finally quieted down. Not at all relaxing and honestly a stressful sleeping experience, thankful to the morning front desk lady who gave me a $30 discount, but very disappointed the noise was not handled by the front desk as it was happening.

We really liked having a restaurant on property. Why do they locate the shampoo on the opposite end of the shower? Very inconvenient!

Great overnight stay
We stayed one night on a trip through Pennsylvania. This hotel was a delightful surprise. The staff was welcoming efficient and friendly. Someone enjoys their workplace enough to have added fun seasonal decorations. . The rooms were comfortable and clean. There is a bar/restaurant attached that provided us a great meal at a reasonable price. We would stay here again.

I was not a fan at all of the property. The first room I was given smelled like cigarettes and there was a man outside smoking staring into the room. I asked to be moved and the staff kindly accommodated my request. The gentleman at the counter was legit just the best and so helpful. I truly appreciated him and enjoyed meeting him. The second room did not smell like smoke but the AC did not work well. The room was not the cleanest and there were stains on the curtains and the bathroom was gross along with the fan in there insanely loud. I unfortunately did not get much sleep at all because the walls were paper thin and the person beside me was incredibly loud to the point where I had to knock on the door but that did not stop the noise. In the morning the front desk staff were not friendly or helpful. No good morning. No how was your night. Nothing. I did not get to even try the breakfast because there were so many people in the lobby that I could barely get to it. It was very disappointing for the price. I even have recordings of how loud it was.

Facility needs update
The property is much need of an update. The staff was great and are doing their best to make up for the run down facility. The food selection was ok. Also, having the smoking area right as you walk into the hotel is a turn off. Lastly, I couldn’t find anything on the website that disclosed this was a dog friendly hotel.
