Renowned Legacy Lodge located in National Forest

Luxurious family lodge surrounded on all sides by US Forest. Come enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods while lodging in luxury. Up to 60 people can sleep comfortably. This is a wonderful spot for family reunions, corporate retreats, weddings*, church retreats, scout camps, girls' camps, hunting parties, and youth conferences. While seclusion is a key benefit to visiting us, you can always visit local communities in the area for dinner, movies, and shopping. The large pond is great for swimming and fishing!

Fishing is catch and release only and seasonal. No license needed. Personal fishing equipment is required.

Check in is at 3pm and check out is at noon. Full-time caretakers will keep the home open and ready for your arrival.

Legacy Lodge has been featured on many TV shows, including HGTV's Amazing Log Homes and Carver Kings. The main home is built with large, hand shaved Western Red Cedar logs. The effect is cozy and grand at the same time. Amenities for this wonderful home include a large stocked pond for swimming or fishing, a big commercial grade kitchen with three ovens, two sinks and two refrigerator/freezers, ample parking, huge green lawns (in the summer and spring) for football or volleyball games, full time staff for any needs that come up, large outdoor firepit/grilling area, big treehouse for the kids, fireplaces in every bedroom, large wrap-around porches and decks, theater room for 50+ people with projection entertainment system and much more.



Your neighbors are ponderosa pine trees, elk, llamas and the occasional turkey. While there are other properties in the area, they are few and far between. You will experience true quiet, other than the wind through the hills, elk calls, and crickets in the summer. You will have some light pollution from the incredible star scape at night. You have never seen so many stars as you will see above Legacy Lodge at night.



Legacy Lodge is proudly and completely self sufficient. We are eight miles from any utility lines. We generate solar power on-site and use the propane generator when needed.
