The hotel is pretty old, and smells musty and of mildew. Everything felt very damp at all times. The staff was very nice and attentive.

Sadly disappointing, reviews not accurate.

I stay at a hotel at least once a month. I always use Hotels.com and I always read the reviews. I know New Richmond is not a large town, but I felt good about the hotel because the reviews said good things. I knew it wouldn’t be “brand new”, but I expected better. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. 4pm on a Friday, when the hotel was sold out. I called the number posted… and after a few minutes someone came out. He was very polite and nice, but it still took forever to check in. We were in a time crunch, as we had a ride coming between 5 and 515. We got into the room and tried to turn on the TV and it didn’t work. After spending 15 minutes trying to diagnose the issue, we ended up asking the front desk to fix it. The manager (?) came to our room (barefoot) and spent over 20 minutes trying to fix it, as I was trying to get ready. He said it would be fixed when we got back, I explained I didn’t want anyone in my room while we were gone. Finally, with 10 minutes to spare before we had to leave, he hooked a new DVD up and had it working. Other issues: the door between rooms did not lock. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. The floors were dirty, like with actual dirt, the tub had dirt in it also. The outlet for the microwave did not work, so had to use the bathroom plug in. And the blow dryer did not work, so I had to find a house keeper in the morning to get a new one. The staff was very nice, but they need to clean up their act. Was not impressed,

This place is falling apart at the seams. Needs some TLC. The gentleman at the desk told me 3 or 4 times “you are wrong” when I was trying to get in the internet instead of helping me. Then upstairs we were having trouble with the electronic key and asked for help. He grabbed it out of my husbands hand and said “you are wrong again”. When I told him he needed to learn how to talk to people he was shocked. I think he felt badly and had no idea how rude he was being. Still not pleasant.

Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and bathroom was recently remodeled. It is an older building. The walls are paper thin and can hear others talk. We used white noise app to cancel out sound.

Not a good stay, on the first night of the stay our light switch in the bathroom failed. We couldn’t turn the lights on at all. Used phone for light. When we talked to the first attendant in the morning he didn’t seem to care or understand what I was telling him. He told me to come back later in the day. When so came back later the second attendant told me to wiggle switch and it will work. I told him we tried that. He then came up to our room and confirmed that the switch and light didn’t work. He said that he would fix it. He never came back to fix the light and we spent the rest of our stay with lights in bathroom. The bathroom door was also in disrepair and wouldn’t shut all the way. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying again. There were no apologies or offer for discount.

Not worth the money I spent but with limited options in the area for the event I attended it had to do. Very run down, needs major updating and cleaning and while they are at it, better decorating. Area is nice.

The hotel stunk like mold very bad. I came home sick from it. We were on the 2nd floor and we noticed in the morning that there was no smoke alarm. It had been taken down. It was dirty.

I had to pay another $22 at check in because my room wasnt ready. The jets in hot tub arent wirking and they werent working last year. I specifically ask about this before booking and was told it was working. So i was lied to and it cost more. Im not happy. Tgen the air-conditioning is making noise and kept me awake after being up for two days. Im tired and hungry. Ill see what breakfast brings!

The staff were very nice The room was so damp ! The carpet was very wet the bedding was damp my pillows were very damp maybe they cleaned the carpet in that room I don’t know The pool is in need of repair Like said the staff was very nice

I never stayed at a place this dirty. The carpet had dust and dirt at the corners, dust and hair on nightstands, one of the towels in the bathroom had a paper tag still attached from the store and tower has never been washed, there was a cockroach right outside the patio door, flies all over the ceing, smell like the room has been smoked in for many years, a lot of broken glass around the trash area in the parking lot. And worst if all, the cleaner looked visibly high. We did not even bother with the breakfast and and the swimming pool, so sketchy. The worst hotel experience we've had in years.
