Our room was a bit run down. You can tell they don’t really care about what their rooms look like by the paint job. Walls were thin and I could hear the couple next door talking in the bathroom. The pool closed at 9 which was crazy to me considering it’s right next to the front desk so I’m not sure why it wasn’t open later. Most hotels is 11pm.

Family friendly, pet friendly and spacious room. However, bathroom had black "tire tracks" on the floor and sink leaked water into the doorway. However, since we asked for & got a handicapped accessible room and we were very tired from travel we let it go. Planning 0n staying there next time we go thru KC.

Im sorry but at this point i will not stay here again. I requested a handicap room. It was disgusting, smelly, dusty, extremely outdated, worn out furniture, floor was sticky with what i dont know, and had roaches. I was moved to a cleanier room but on 3rd floor. Elevator was old, shaky, and smelled. Carpet through out hotel needs to be cleaned or either updated. Iron didn't work properly. I requested an ice bucket and more towels and im still waiting. Internet/wifi ggarbage. The only reason i gave 2 stars was due to a cleanier room and little more updated than the 1st.

Keep expectations in mind considering price and you’ll realize the value. No issues. Easy check in, small, but functional gym, and nice size pool area. If you intend to use these facilities, go in the morning because kids fill them up in the evening.

We booked this hotel last minute due to being at Worlds of Fun all day. It was a Meh! Unique hotel with a pool in the middle but the rooms were a different story. A little old but we didn’t care. Saw folks just walking around the property due to a waffle house in front. Overall, if it’s just a place to stay and leave the next morning, go for it.

Hotel was comfortable. Decided to swim.. took one step into pool and the step was so slick my travel partner fell down the steps causing deep bruising on back and arm. We went out to smoke and sat on a bench- 2 smaller girls - and the bench fell right through also causing a bruise on her bottom. When we told the staff they absolutely did not care and went on about their day. Would not bring towels to the room, did not have towels at front desk, and housekeepers were out on our last day. We will never stay here again. Truly disappointed
