It's apparent the management of this property takes pride in their work. The lobby area was clean and decorated festively for the fall. We stayed over on Halloween and they had left a basket of treats out for the guests. Our room was clean and functional with a comfortable bed and a fridge. The bathroom was large with plenty of space. Breakfast was ample and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was gorgeous. I booked a basic room for one night and it was HUGE! I could only imagine what the apartment style room they offer looks like. Will come again.

Property was clean but we happen to find roaches in our room and in the bed. When asked to speak to a manager there was not one on duty. We did ask to switch to another room and they let us but could not sleep

Find a Hotel in Katy Instead
I immediately felt the humidity inside the hotel as soon as I walked into the lobby, an omen it turns out. This was Houston in late Sep, mind you. The air felt drier outside! My assigned room was worse. It had an ammonia smell from dampness in the carpet caused by high humidity, which must have been there a long time to generate that odor. I turned on the wall unit AC and left the room to eat supper, hoping the smell would dissipate after the unit cooled and dehumidified the room. I returned an hour later. There was no change, so I requested a new room. Hotel staff kindly placed me in another room. In the new room, the smell of long-lingering humidity was present, but it was tolerable for the night. I contemplated spending my remaining two nights at a hotel in Katy but decided it was not worth the hassle to move. The wall units in the rooms are incapable of dehumidifying the air. I will not stay again at this Wyndam property.

My stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham-Brookshire-West was exceptionally great. I have no complaints. The staff members are wonderful. The snack area was fully stocked. The room was pleasant and clean.The air conditioning wall unit is adjustable 👏. I literally thought I missed the timeframe for breakfast. However, when I walked down the hall, there were a variety of items to choose from; including, hot coffee, hot croissants, hot sausages, hot eggs, hot hash Browns, cereal, milk muffins, and additional food items ✅️. I traveled alone so yes I felt safe. The pool was clean and inviting. And it's always pleasurable and convenient to have a Microwave and mini refrigerator in the room (And both appliances were definitely utilized 🫠). I will definitely be a returning customer and visitor.
