Great OBX stay
Hotel was wonderful! Clean and comfortable. You can tell parts of it are a bit run down, the paint was chipping on the balcony, but it took nothing away from our experience. Beds were super comfy, bathroom was clean and water was hot. The tiki hut was awesome! We had an oceanfront view and the sunrise was amazing. Staff is so friendly!! We will stay here again.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in! Room was very clean, although it could benefit from a little tlc from maintenance. Front desk staff very friendly. Heater in the pool not working while we there, so it was a bit cool. Bar only open 4-9. It is off season, so we understood, but not even later for drinks. We don't typically stay in hotels when we travel to OBX, but would certainly stay again.

The spa was not working. The trash receptacles were overflowing, the pool towels were out of clean and overflowing with dirty towels. The restaurant was closed. On the beach deck in the restaurant cabinet in plain view were moldy glasses.

Checked in online and picked up the key upon arrival. We were supposed to have an ocean view room, but they must have upgraded it because we were in the center with a spectacular oceanfront view. They have upgraded the hot tub since the last time we've been there, and the pool was warm and comfortable to walk into. Not too warm, but only took a moment to adjust. The staff are professional and friendly. The morning coffee is good and I am looking forward to our next visit!

The hotel was older and so the pipes made noises at night that kept me and my husband awake. The door to the bathroom was a barn door so if you were in the bathroom you couldn't open the door to come inside the room because the handle stuck out. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the place was very clean though. The beds were comfortable too.
