Everything about the hotel is great from the welcome at Reception to the delicious breakfast offering. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable and the bed linen very good quality. Everywhere in the hotel is kept spotlessly clean and there are nice touches like fruit available in the lounge area and freely available tea/coffee/water.

It’s the little things…

I will start with Kingman hotels are always overpriced due to locations. The linens were clean and the towels were soft. The cleaners work hard to turn all the rooms. However, the room felt a bit run down. The mattress had dips on both sides. The box spring and platform were all scratched up. One of the lamp shades was torn. High use areas in the room have dirt. Even the “do not disturb sign” had coffee stains splashed all over. The dumbest thing about the room was that all three lamps were controlled by light switch at the door. The door/entrance light had to be on to use one or all three lamps. The reception area gets congested quickly which makes getting to the elevators with luggage/cart tricky.

The room was clean and the grounds kept up. The hotel overall has a warm, friendly vibe to it. I especially liked the friendliness of all staff. The gal who checked me in was kind and compassionate when I shared that my little traveling companion (my dachshund) is 18 years senior and I was having to decide if it is time to release her.
