Awesome Lakefront House on West Point Lake in LaGrange, Ga

This 3BR/2BA house on West Point Lake is perfect for a family adventure, getaway, or fishing trip. Plenty of land to roam with a fire pit to enjoy the great outdoors. This house is ready to entertain - a great room with kitchen, TV, and new appliances. You will love the peace and quiet this home provides!

The main room features a vaulted ceiling with wood beams spanning from side to side and a hardwood floor to pull it all together. The downstairs has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a full over full bunk bed with a trundle pull out. We also have a loft that features a queen bed. The upstairs master suite has a king bed and a small kid bed. This home offers a perfect setting for a family retreat or lodging for a fishing tournament.

Upon arrival, be sure to take a minute to relax on the screened porch or stretch your legs by take a walkabout down the trails through the woods. Our plot of land backs up to core of engineer property that is protected - this land is full of wildlife you can observe from the back porch. The dock is about 200yds from the house and can be accessed by following a lighted gravel trail to the lake that starts right out of the back door.

There is no cable at the house. There are 2 Smart TVs with Netflix and Hulu subscriptions available.

Please note that the dock is a shared family dock and my parents keep their boat there. Both boat slips may be occupied during your stay but there is plenty of room to tie off on either side of the dock. The dock features water and power available for your use.

Check-in is after 3pm. Check-out is 10am unless discussed otherwise.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Pyne Road Park. Features include a water park. A kitchen and 2 bathrooms are available in the cabin.

Lake House
The house is located in a safe area with a nice path to the lake. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Showers are tiled and nice with faucets high enough for tall people and plenty of water to wash with. Owner was easily accessible for information.

What a great place for family to gather for a visit! Cousin came to visit from Albany NY to meet our newest family member. Rather than fight 285 traffic each day, we searched for a place in Lagrange that was large enough for us to each have a bed, room to relax and visit, and near the lake for fishing. Absolutely perfect!!! Thank you for sharing your lake home.

Guys Annual Fishing Trip
This was 4 years in a row renting the cabin and have enjoyed all 4 years very much. The cabin is awesome and sits back in a cove with very little boat traffic, great dock, fire pit and the cabin is equipped with everything you need. Only able to stay 2 nights, but would have loved to stay longer! Great spacious home for my family to spend time together during our travels to Fort Moore. We thoroughly enjoyed making smores on the fire-pit out back and stayed up late playing their games (Apples to Apples was the favorite!) Peaceful and Quiet Location
Everything was absolutely beautiful on the property - the house, lake and trees. There was only one mild issue with one of the bedrooms (the bunkbeds). The room was very warm and had a mildly unpleasant odor when w first opened the bedroom door. The A/C vent was loose and seemed to block some of the air flow. We left the bedroom door open and temporarily removed the vent which significantly helped cool the room down. By the time we left, there was still a mildly foul smell in that one room. However, everything else was exceptional.
