Puamana 80-3 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome ideally located just a short stroll from Puamana’s private ocean access, swimming pool, and playground located on the secluded south side of Puamana, which was unharmed by the Lahaina fire. Puamana is a low-density gated community of lush gardens and nearly a half-mile of Pacific Ocean beachfront. It’s centrally located to many amazing beaches Maui offers and is only five miles from Ka’anapali Beach.

This comfortable, no-frills vacation home is a great value and a perfect home base for those eager to take advantage of all that Maui offers – outdoor adventures including snorkeling, diving, surfing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, zip lining, or just relaxing at the beach. Maui also offers fantastic restaurants, from local favorites to world-class dining, shopping, Hawaiian cultural events, and local farm and plantation tours (everything from pineapples and other tropical fruits to chocolate, coffee, goats, lavender, butterflies, and much more!).
The master bedroom on the ground floor has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom, washer/dryer, and a small office area with access to the lanai. The second bedroom in the loft area has a king bed and two twin beds. The lanai opens to a large greenbelt area with an ocean view, perfect for lounging and barbequing.

Please note: Several buildings on the northern side of Puamana’s oceanfront community were impacted by the Lahaina fires of 2023. Fortunately, this property and the entire southern side of Puamana were unharmed; however, cleared parcels will be visible as you drive down the highway and first enter Puamana. We’re also pleased to report that two grocery store complexes in Lahaina—Safeway and Foodland Farms—as well as Maui's renowned Hula show, the Old Lahaina Luau, and four excellent Lahaina restaurants—Ocean Tavern, Mala, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle—were not affected and are all less than a ten-minute drive away.

Near end of stay I received a message to let the manager know of anything that should be addressed. They promptly brought out an AC unit for the upstairs loft, which was very warm with just fans for our stay. I wish I would have asked sooner….

Great location. Townhouse needs updating
We had a great time staying in the unit. It is close to downtown Lahaina and steps away from the ocean. The pools are amazing and we felt very safe. The only downside is the townhouse is in separate need of a facelift. It’s a wonderful place and was clean, but everything is very loved. This could be a stellar unit of it was updated and brought into the 21st century.

Great place except for insects
Overall it was an amazing place to stay at for our vacation, very comfortable.. only major issue we had was the roaches, ants and termites all over the kitchen and bathroom sinks.. we came across a dead roach on a bed pillow upon arriving.. Besides that, overall it was a great place to have our vacation..

Certain Puamana condo is absolutely disgusting
Very unsatisfied! Condo was extremely dirty. Showers had black hair stuck to all walls. Bugs covered kitchen counters. Windows missing. Cockroaches throughout. Dishwasher full of black dirty water, emanating foul odor. Will never stay at this location again. VRBO will not allow me to post unit number. Be cautious!

Main tv doesn’t work correctly, exhaust fan in bathroom sounds like it could fall out at any moment, a/c units upstairs are very loud, dirt on all baseboards, and sliding screen door would barely roll open.

Townhouse in gated community near ocean
The unit has a good location within the gated community near to all three pools, which are clean and well cared for, and easy ocean access. The unit is not updated (a little tired) and the second bedroom is actually the open loft upstairs. There are many owner (?) items in the unit like playpens, carseats and children's bikes located in the loft. The outside lanai is well appointed with a new barbeque. The internet, to which television service was associated, had a tendency to cycle on and off but when it was on it worked well. Kitchen was well appointed with a microwave and ample pots, pans, and dishes. Abundancy of towels and beach supplies. T he loft and the small office area in the master bedroom both had functioning air conditioning and fans to circulate air. The in unit washer and dryer worked well.

Wonderful Location
We stayed for 8 nights in unit 80-3. It is a perfect location and a wonderful property. I stayed with my wife and 18 year old son and 19 year old daughter. The house was plenty roomy for us and offered everything we needed as a base for our Maui vacation. We utilized the Bbq to grill steaks and fish as well as prepared many others meals in the kitchen. Puamana is very close to downtown Lahaina, yet far enough away. The property has 3 swimming pools, the pool right on the ocean is absolutely amazing. Overall the property is quiet, well kept and a great place to relax. Next time I would probably try to book earlier so we could have a beach front property, who doesn't love to sit and stare out at the ocean. I would highly recommend this unit and any unit on the Puamana property. Enjoy, Mahalo!

First impression was the house was too small for 6 people. We originally planned to have 5 adults and 1 child. Due to weather, the other 3 did not come until later. When we arrived, the house smelt old possibly due to old furniture, like it was not cleaned well when we arrived. Could be from the hot weather, however, we are a family who made it work by deodorizing the place because we felt we had no choice because of availability in the area and cost. We also kept it clean and treated the home like it was ours. I thought the cleaning and parking fees were a bit much since it was not noticeably clean when we first arrived. We noticed that having two vehicles made it difficult for parking the 2nd car in a spot near the house. Overall, we loved the big swimming pool out by the beach, the lanai and the safe gate enclosed entry. It is a nice little place for possibly 4 people. Might want to changeout the couches or they need cleaning and put a queen bed upstairs rather than a pull out bed. Possibly our next trip we will try to find a place that has more space and flexibility. After all, customers outside of Hawaii do pay a lot to come to your community and bring economy to your island. We left happy and appreciated a home rather than a hotel or apartment type rental.
