Hotel is good, room was nice and updated even though they don't offer a mini bar/small fridge which was a bit odd to.me. but what I could not understand or accept in a hotel of this size and supposed quality is that their fitness center closed at 6PM!!! That was just mind blowing to me. The peak hour for most people's work out and they close the gym because the SPA closes. The gym isn't even attended or anything. It's just for their own convenience I'm guessing.

My wife and i decided to take a little staycation and relax and just have some time together so we thought the Nugget would be a great choice. It was not... we arrived a little late as we both worked that day and saw Noone at the front desk, only after approaching the desk and loudly saying "HELLO" someone appeared. She was ok and seemed helpful and even said she was hooking us up with a room upgrade. Upon arrival at the room, and it was a top floor, the key cards wouldnt open the door. after about 15 minutes of trying my wife decided she would go back to the front desk as i waited by the door with our luggage. She returned 30ish minutes later with 2 new keys and told me the front desk attendant said to try the keys and if it didnt work this time to call maintenence and wrote a phone number on the key sleeve. Once again doors were locked, she contacted the anonymous maintenance, someone answered as jf it wrre their persoal phone and seemed unaware why or what we were calling him for. After explaining our circumstances he said "ok ill send someone over. After waiting abkut 20 minutes i decided to back tk the Front desk. once and again had to shout hello to fer somekne to speak to.
