Overheard receptionist talking about bed bugs. Turned around and walked out. Tried to get refund but they wouldn’t. Stay away from this place.

We arrived 20 minutes before check-in. The employee took our name and proceeded to check us in but then told us we were not able to check in at that time. When we returned, it took two employees about 10 minutes to process us. While I do not blame the employees, I think maybe better training is needed, especially for a sold-out weekend as I had overheard. Breakfast was mediocre. The pastries seemed old or dry and the eggs left a lot to be desired. Again, for the price of the room I was less than impressed with some of these things. One final note our room did have a smoke alarm signal the front desk. I’m glad they called immediately even though we discovered there was not smoke. However our room did not annunciate an alarm.

Poor maintenance of the property: A/C noisy/ defective in the room. Changed to a different room which is not the type that I booked. Next day I could not get back in the room (after I was given different keys and told they were de-magnetized because I kept them too close to my cell phone) apparently because the door reader was out of battery. Their solution was to keep the door open

Check in person was really good. Room cleaner not so much. The first day I told her I didn't need service the next day she asked that I need service I told her I'd be out of room in an hour that was around 9:30 10:00 I returned to the room at like 4:00 and they were still working on my room yet I noticed there was nothing really done they made the bed up with the same sheets the same linen understandably so they changed the tiles but there was coffee still in the coffee maker I didn't see what took them so long to get the room cleaned other than that the stay was amazing
