Beautiful area, liked the breakfast and quiet property. Enjoyed spending our mornings out on the patio. Staff could have been friendlier at first (comments at check-in about 'booking through a third party' were rude), but the remainder of our interactions were very good. Would recommend.

Hotel was set back from the main road and therefore quiet; parking lot was spacious. I had a reservation for a room with 2 queen beds but we got there earlier than expected and room wasn't ready...hotel staff (Kirsten) offered me a handicapped room with king bed for the same price, 1st floor end of hallway.

Relaxing Days
We were early, so room wasn't ready. Not big deal, we went to town. Came back later, got our room, that was ok. Bit of a weird smell, some dust on headboard, tv and cabinets. Other than that, ok. Breakfast was always good, something for everyone in my opinion. Only thing, they use a lot of plastic. Didn't use the pool or gym but everything looked nice and clean. Unfortunately, the bar at the reception area wasn't open during our stay. Reception was friendly and helpful. Hotel was a little bit outside but still in an ok distance to main street. Lot of nice restaurants and bars, just check the opening days during off season, some are only open Friday to Sunday. It was a relaxing and nice time at Lake George.

This hotel is very nice, especially since it was redone since the last time we were there. We were close to everything in the area such as stores, restaurants, and the ride down to the beautiful lake. The only thing we didn’t know is that it’s a pet friendly hotel. As soon as we got to our room there was a dog in the room next door constantly barking. We contacted the front desk and they were on it and took care of it. The owner was out so the hotel contacted them and they came back and all was fine. I don’t mind hearing dogs barking, but I just didn’t want it to be constant. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was delicious. The only odd thing was that the luggage dolly was a very odd shape and we couldn’t fit everything on it, since we were staying six nights, we had to make 2 trips. I would stay there again.
